That said I'd think about it if we missed out on Towns since there's no chance Flip takes Hezonja
That writer is also saying Embiid is 300lbs, which we know isn't even remotely true. I'll believe it when it happens or if Woj says it could have happened (Stein as well).
They haven't even seen if he can play or not, Hinkie to this point has given players a season to play.

Grizzlies were able to pack the paint with Sef and Perkins being liabilities in the worst years of their career. The moment Butler came in to stretch the floor they were blown out and Durant and Westbrook were able to play their ball again.

They used him as a human screen machine cause he can't score on his own if it's not some 4th string center he's going against, the Grizz were icing the screens and when DeAndre rolled to the rim the SF/PF on the Grizz would step up while Gasol/Koufous sunk back into the lane to pick him back up. If you play solid defense his offense is so easy to take away, especially with defensive bigs like Gasol / Kosta, shyt is light work for them and why he has such shytty numbers vs that team.
He's gonna get a max, but
Or at least you could foul out the opposing center because the stats say if dj catches the ball within 4 feet of the basket with his back to it still, they have no choice but to foul or give a powerful high percentage shot...
Or young wilt he's not, but if featured could give you 95 percent of what Dwight offers

What stats you looking at plehboi? He gets less than .4 post ups per game
He is one of the most inept centers in the league when it comes to creating offense for himself from the post, they don't let him try because he sucks at it and shows zero feel for it. If DeAndre catches the ball 4 feet from the rim with his back to the basket it means he didn't get a lob or an easy handoff and you're good cause he's gonna throw up a brick when he tries to create. Embiid showed more post moves in 20 minutes @ Kansas than DeAndre has in his entire career.
