Since when did outplaying somebody mean that the player that was outplayed, had to play badly? Rondo didn't play badly, he just didn't play as well as Reggie did. Rondo still had a respectable game, he just wasn't aggressive enough when he needed to be to hold the lead. There were multiple situations that were as follows: Reggie pushing the tempo, shooting or driving - either drawing fouls to get to the line or kicking it out - the other end of the floor Rondo would do the exact opposite.Nah not really, for most of the game the Celtics would stretch out a lead with the starters in and lose it once the bench stepped in (Evan Turner). To say Reggie outplayed him would be to suggest that Rondo played badly which ain't true and it ain't like Reggie stunk up the first half on purpose. For the majority of the game Rondo was the better player. Of course that ain't what counts but to suggest he got outplayed is off base.
