I think him playing for the olympic team brought his game to a whole new level, just playing alongside the best of the best

Also he's a master at drawing fouls and has benefited from playing a few teams with bigs out where he just attacks the iniside relentlessly

Harden offensive game has no weakness. :ohlawd:

In transition he's getting fouled, euro stepping you or plowing right through you, sometimes all three:ooh:

In ISO he's breaking you down, driving or stepping back for the mid range jumper:lawd:

If you back off him he'll knock down a three:damn:

Uncertain grounds
PG was a lottery pick, it's expected of him.

Jimmy was the last pick of the first round, not really the same expectations. Just look at his draft and all the guys in front of him -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_NBA_draft

Outside of Kyrie & Klay, is there anyone with a case for being better than him?

not a terrible draft but maybe Kawhi? id probably take Butler over Klay right now too. Thats how good he's been.

actually that draft was very good. IT may be the best Mr. Irrelevant ever.

tristan has shown promise but not top 5 promise.

  • Kyrie
  • Valanciunas
  • Kemba
  • Knight
  • Klay
  • Burks
  • Kawhi
  • Morris'
  • Vucci
  • Shumpert
  • Harris
  • Donatas is finally coming around
  • Faried
  • Mirotic
  • Chandler Parsons
  • Thomas

Add Jon Leurer and Bojan Bogdanovic to that list. I feel Biyombo has what it takes to be a strong rotational piece as well just not with the Hornets.

In the top 20 alone, i'd say Derrick Williams, Jimmer Fredette, Chris Singleton, and Jan Vesely (got damn the Wizards drafted 2 of them :dead:) are the only real busts. Which is crazy as far as percentages go.

Cali
It was a play where thick azz Diaw beat him off the dribble and got a layup. :mjlol:
Its games like this why I would trade DJ and make a team take Barnes too and upgrade the perimeter.
I agree DJ has been getting expose against the better post players in the league but on the flipside he'd look a little better defensively if we had some athletic wings who could guard. Against a team like the Warriors guards and forwards have to get by Thompson, Iggy, Barnes, Draymond Green, etc. then face Bogut in the paint... with us they gotta do is run right past CP3, Redikk, Crawford, and Farmar then we gotta hope Blake or DJ can pick them up. OKC has Durant, Westbrook, Jackson, Perry Jones, Roberson, Lamb.. then in the paint they got Ibaka, Adams, Perkins, and McGeary.. I could go on and on with this sh*t

-Doc really f*cked this roster up something serious:camby:
