I like Aldridge, as long as you have a defensive 5 to put next to him he's good money. Also, I think his game will age well, the Knicks would be better with him on a max salary than with Melo.

@ the Hornets winning the last 4 games......without Lance.Trade deadline is only a month away, and he'll walk in FA, so it's not like Phoenix is in the driver's seat. I'm sure the Suns would have listened to what Dallas could have offered. Perhaps get a third team involved. Even departing with Crowder and Wright, Dragic would have put them in position to be favorites, or very close to it.
Now they're 1st or 2nd round exit status.
