I doubt they fukked up in scouting him, if anything they just felt they had enough bigs already. He was supposed to be a top 10 pick and the second best center prospect after Embiid, and while I like McBuckets I can't see him being as good as Nurkic, he leads rookies in PER and the Nuggets are much better offensively/defensively when he's on the floor. A 20 year old rookie big making an impact so soon is usually a sign of some big things to come.
