That's cause Mozgov is signed for another season, while Pau was set to be an unrestricted FA.

I understand that, but a team like OKC would have won the title last year if they had Pau. Hell, they're making secret deals with first rounders to put them in the D-League so they don't have to pay them.

Edit: If you can win a title by acquiring a player, you should always go for it. Titles >>> picks.
