It's still gonna be San Antonio vs OKC in the WCF. Anybody else is just for play play, GS won't make it to the WCF.
West playoffs are gonna be crack though

I wonder what's been our record against the Blazers the last two seasons. Can any of y'all look that up for me?Naw, I think Porltand can give them the business - but it all depends on health and certain guys getting out of slumps (Batum)
Playoff LMA could bust that whole defense open.
Regular season matchups =! playoff matchups and you know itI wonder what's been our record against the Blazers the last two seasons. Can any of y'all look that up for me?
That must mean we've been kicking their ass the last two years. And if you think LMA is good enough to beat us by himself then he's the real MVP.Regular season matchups =! playoff matchups and you know it
I'm not even hating, I think GS is legit. I just don't think there defense is built to stop a wrecking ball like playoff LMA. The only thing standing between a top 3 defense and mediocrity in GS is Bogut - and LMA has every tool necessary to break him over his knee. A lot of things have to go right for Portland too though. Wes can't get cold again, Damian would have to prove his defense is at least good enough to not be a constant liability, Batum would have to get that procedure to remove his head from his ass, Lopez has to come back playing well... but honestly, that's not asking for a lot. That's just saying the have to be healthy and show up. GS at their best will have their hands full with LMA regardless. They can't afford to not be playing at their best vs Portland in the playoffs.
And they're not winning on the road in Portland either.
yeah. ok nikka. The only team I can see beating them is OKC (and no not in five games), with Memphis and SA having about a 20-30% chance. Dallas and Portland have a 0% chance.

You taking this real personal

I'm not taking anything personal. I haven't made anything personal in this convo. I'm just questioning your reasoning. I give credit to LMA and he would present a matchup problem to Draymond but if you think he can beat us in 7 games by himself I have some oceanfront property in Arizona for sell and I only want $400 for it.You taking this real personal
And honestly, if Durant and LBJ hadn't had all-time great statistical seasons last year, someone could've easily made a case for LMA winning MVP. I think GS is legit. Really do. I also think that Portland is their one true nightmare match-up right now. Just like when Dallas played GS. Like when Dallas plays SA.
Keep on trucking Phoenix

Obviously there's still a lot of ball to play, but OKC has some catching up to do just to make it into the post season...

They are. But they haven't been healthy yet - when its March and they start to crank up, people are gonna be shook all over again.People are seriously underrating the Spurs. A completely different team with Kawhi and Mills.
. If they get that offense up, Memphis is gonna be a scary sight.I'm not taking anything personal. I haven't made anything personal in this convo. I'm just questioning your reasoning. I never insinuated he would. LMA dropped 26 and 13 on us this season and they still lost. It's not a one man game, you've never seen me say that Steph could sink a team by himself in the playoffs. Our value is our depth, I knew we'd be deep before the offseason last year which is why I titled our season thread "Strength In Numbers" and not "Strength In Steph".
