Spurs are done. But besides that, the only team that could beat the Warriors have now learnt that their best player won't be back this season. Only an injury to a key member stops GS from going to the Finals. No team in the West is going to win 2+ games in the Oracle.

Kawhi and Green have no chance slowing down Curry and Klay for an entire series. And even if they could, neither of them have the offensive game to fight fire with fire. You'll underestimating how hard it is to win in the Oracle. Warriors will always get calls in their favor on home runs, and as you know they have the most devastating offense in the league... so with that advantage it'll only compound the issue more for the Spurs. You can not compete with that over a whole series.

Warriors will run them out the gym with their youth and firepower. It's as simple as that.

I think yall and the Rockets will have an epic 2nd round battle to decide who takes an L to the Warriors in the WCFs tho... this is a great season for yall but also a crossroads because Gasol is an unrestricted free agent. I fear that would be the first change to happen if shyt were to go sour.

The way things are playing out, feels like Atlanta is making it to the ECFs and will face the winner of the Cleveland/Chicago 2nd round slug fest, in which i feel Bron and Kyrie might out superstar everyone the way Bron and Wade did in 2011.

Meanwhile, I think GState is going to have a 2011 type Dallas run through of the West.

Maybe Atlanta surprises but it is starting to look like Warriors/Cavs more and more, unless Derrick Rose comes back in spectacular fashion.

The Mavs were underdogs in every single playoff series in 2011. Thats part of what makes it one of the most impressive title runs ever.

Im not talking about the specific narratives (outside of the 3pt shooting), just the ass kickings when the dust settles.

But really, if GState does has a similar romp through, it will be one of the most memorable seasons that a title team has put together, esp given the new coach and how not too many if any had them pegged to be this dominant at the start of the season.
