Do y'all think the Lakers would be winning these games if they had Hield instead of Westbrook?

Bron is coming back the end of this week, and Westbrook has started slowly and looked like a perfect fit in the second half of the season the last couple of seasons when he's with a new team. Panicking 15 or so games in isn't the move. This is better than the Big 3 Heat started.

Calm down big dawg, I didn't say Hield was better, I just said the Lakers are known to acquire assets out of nothing :pachaha:

You alright buddy? :pachaha:

It's a general question though, since people keep bringing up the Hield thing. Look at it as an open response and not a specific response to you my son.

It’s because there is absolutely no trust they can translate it to the playoffs for a Finals run. Not saying they can’t, but nobody believes they can and that is somewhat fair based on their playoff track record. Last season was the year - #1 seed, Kawhi gets hurt after game 4 when it’s 2-2, Lakers don’t have AD. Suns/Bucks did what Utah needed to do. All last season people took a wait and prove it stance with Utah in the playoffs and they gave credence to the perception. It doesn’t help that Gobert isn’t as valuable in playoff ball. His inability to switch and defend on the perimeter has killed them multiple times in playoff series.

On top of that they STILL don’t have perimeter defenders with height & length to guard Kawhi, Luka, PG, Bron etc when it matters most. You can’t throw undersized Royce O’Neal on the whole world

Just read some tweet of a reporter (Eskin) saying that Ben Simmons is in Philly, practicing and playing with the St Joseph Hawks but still says he cant play with the 76ers. Anyone who has Twitter can add that to this thread or the Ben Simmons one.

Regardless, its been on Simmons side all along with this issue. It seems that he and his team still wont share any doctor/mental health info with the team as well. This shytshow just wont stop.

And yet those "worst bball takes" seem to be right. Funny that, ain't it.

:hubie:

1) We're 13 games into the season

2) I guarantee a healthy lakers squad is beating every team you mentioned in the playoffs

3) You still have terrible bball opinions and a neg won't change what you see in the mirror everyday

4) Please, PLEASE don't quote me anymore

Ehhhh that FT% is a bit misleading.

Dude was already barely getting to the FT in his career and he’s doing it at lower pace this season. Averaging less than one FT attempt per game is laughable for someone playing 30+ minutes a game.
Understandable, but he's making them and that's all that matters.
