:coffee: He’s going to be the reason they don’t win it all. When that game slows down and they stay hunting him it’s not going to be pretty.

He's gonna be the reason they don't win it all? :laff: :laff:
Take Jokic off the team and they're in the lottery
He's literally the reason they're contending in the first place

Nah man, Russ is not it.

It’s not all his fault, but Russ isn’t a winning player. Clippers are realizing that.

He may be back next season for vibes reasons, but they need a point guard to maximize what they have left of George and Kawhi.
Your 100% right but put russ on the bobcats he can lead them to the playoffs.

Russ is a guy who has to start his own business and cant have any mergers or partners. You know it will close eventually but while its open it will keep you entertained

That's a failure on Denver's FO in not putting him next to a rim protector like Minny tried to do with KAT. People are placing more blame on the player than the team and FO for obvious reasons.
:laff:
Lol @ needing to put a rim protector next to your 7 foot center

Also lol @ your own example killing your argument. ‘Like Minnesota tried to do with KAT’. Yea so they made one of the worst trades in nba history with a crippling
contract and they’re better without him

The league is moving small it’s laughable to think Denver needs a ‘rim protector’ to start next to Gobert. Bottom line every player flaw can’t be hidden especially if it’s a star and that’s what Jokic’s defense is

The Bobcats don’t exist

And Lamelo>Russ

Russ isn’t a winning player.

The fact that the trade was lopsided doesn't change the fundamental premise in that the main reason they went after Gobert was because KAT can't play the 5 unless you'd like to try and pretend otherwise.

You can't completely hide flaws, but you certainly can try and minimize them as much as possible which we see teams try and do all the time.

SIZE-wise, foot speed wise, KAT can feasibly play the 4. (As can AD)

Jokic can’t. (Nor could Embiid)

It’s not a conversation

What about Giannis and Brook Lopez? Bucks play with two seven footers and Lopez is one of the best rim protectors.

@Braman nothing you said there changes the point that the Bucks don‘t use Giannis as their rim protectors despite he being 7-feet tall.

Jokic isn’t a great rim protector yet the Nuggets use him as their only one because they didn’t build a good defensive team.

Jokic cannot play the 4

So it’s not even an option on the table.

Giannis CAN play the 4, so it’s an option and they’re using it.

AD can play the 4, so LA used it before.

KAT can play the 4, so minny uses it

There is no feasible scenario for Jokic to play the 4. Ever.

The hit pieces trying to discredit someone who’s pretty much single-handedly led his team to the #1 seed in the West is hilarious.

I don’t recall the last time some shyt like this happened.

But-bu-but the media is trying to gift him the MVP.
