Why does the NBA wait so long to give out the MVP? It's going to be really awkward if they give it to Shai and OKC loses in game 7.
They usually announce MVP early in the 2nd round
My best guess is since SGA & Jokic will be 1 and 2 and they’re playing each other they don’t want to announce until the series is over.
