Yeah I think I'm fukking with the parity era. For most of my life watching ball (I'm mid-late 20s) you could always kinda figure who would end up in the Finals. It's been fun to watch new teams each year come up, we literally have no idea who is gonna win the title now and it's been this way since after the Warriors went back to back in 2018.
Always funnier because you'd have dikkheads every year saying how the NBA is so predictable when that hasn't been the case since those Warriors. So many years a team just emerges out of nowhere. Also seems like more teams are keeping their cores together longer so there is more familiarity with the teams near the top too. Plus you have mixes of veteran teams and young teams. The NBA is in a great place talent wise.

Facts, from a historical perspective people used to say the only era in the NBA with parity was the 70's but this is different because the league is so talented and it's spread out across the league. In the 70's you still had the ABA so talent wasn't in just one league like it is now.

Jaylen Brown had a torn meniscus. Rough couple weeks for the Celtics
Sucks for them that the picks they’ll have to use to unload Jrue’s deal could be used to reload in tanking next year.

Injuries were going to eventual catch up with them with as much basketball they’ve played over the years with the straight ECF runs.

They might have to think about giving those picks up or finding another player to move to reduce luxury tax.
