MVP race may get settled this weekend

NBA needs to tweak their algorithms for generating these schedules tho… back-to-back games between the same marquee teams is counterintuitive. Give them a day or 2 break, otherwise you’re basically wasting 1 of the matchups from a marketing and quality standpoint.

Chet for sure isn’t going to play in one of them. Neither likely will Gordon.

Ime is ridiculous. At this point trade Cam to a situation where he can be utilized. He’s got to much talent to be sulking on the bench because our coach can’t develop players or understand how to utilize offense :francis: .

Dude was feasting on the number one defense in the league last night. SGA said it’s hard to believe that guy is sitting most ofthe season

Rockets might have too many players?

They also have the 3rd pick in the draft not playing and he also turned up against OKC

I also forgot they still have Jabari Smith

I hope people appreciate what SGA is doing. He's an all-time great player at the peak of his powers this season.

If he doesn't win MVP this year, we riot. Most of this campaign he's had Lu Dort and Cason Wallace in the starting lineup with him. He has a greater offensive burden than Jokic.

You doing too much.

Shai will win MVP, but let's not act like Jokic isn't deserving of the award too. The man is averaging 29 ppg on 63 eFG%, which is unfathomable; he's having arguably the best season of his career.

He carries a greater offensive burden, if only for the fact he's made Westbrook relevant again. Denver's roster is a collective of chuckers or players who can't create their own shot. They're essentially reliant upon him creating offense for them and making them work as a team. As great as Shai has been this season, he's surrounded by a better balance of complementary players, plays in a better system and is part of a more harmonious playing group who don't try to hijack the offense.

Jokic is in constant battle trying to keep his team on the straight and narrow, whilst Murray and MPJ are doing their damn best to color outside of the lines. They're a cotdamn mess whenever he's off the floor, and yet despite how limited OKC is without Shai, they still play as a team.

No matter who misses a game or get injured, that OKC never misses a beat. No other team can say that… the closet is Cleveland

With what draft capital?
What makes you think KD at 36 on an expiring will require all that much to get? Also, I didn’t say how they would do it. I’m just looking at that team if you switch MPJ for KD.
