That is a team where free agents dont go, washed up Kyle Lowry turned down 200 mil, THJr turned them down too. Had to pay one legged Looney 8 mil. So when you have good players, especially homegrown its hard to get rid of them. The chance you will get a Trey Murphy level player with the assets you get back for him are slim. He is still young, wants to be there and fits with any team they try to build.

I believe Jose will be traded, extension coming up and a lot of interest. Pelicans focus should be on trying to trade Zion but it's probably difficulty to accept the fact they wont get a fair value.
You’re still the worse team in the NBA with Murphy, Zion, Herb, and Alvarado. Dont see a point in keeping those vets right now if their not contributing to any wins

Thats true but they probably believe this is a bad year and they can make moves on the margin and be back at it next season. I would trade Zion, Herb, Jose..I would still keep Trey Murphy unless I get 4-5 picks like Bane but others are all available.
