I cant believe punk ass Silver didnt give NBC 3 Thanksgiving games since they didn't get them in on Christmas

NBC would have 3 NBA Games and 1 NFL game

Coulda had

Bulls at Knicks - Noon

Minnesota at Denver - 2:30

OKC at Lakers - 5:00

Bengals at Ravens - 8:00

I think NBA players want the day off but yea Silver should definitely make a move on Thanksgiving

I've noticed how analysts and podcasters alike still go with the archaic/misleading route of just showing points, rebounds, assists when comparing stars or debating who's better, who's having a better season, who's MVP, etc.

Just for comparison's sake, take these two and their averages so far this season:

Luka35.2 PPG23 FGAs47% FG33% 3pt78% FTs9 RPG9.2 APG4.2 Turnovers
Shai32.6 PPG20 FGAs55% FG41% 3pt90% FT5 RPG6.6 APG1.7 Turnovers

Both are elite but what this tells me is, outside of a clear edge in rebounding, Luka is actually a worse scorer, shooter, and passer than Shai... he just has a higher usage rate. However, most will just see points, rebounds, assists, and say Luka is having the far better year.
With the lack of 4th quarters Shai has played the numbers are even more skewed. Plus the eye test is important. Last night is a great example star vs star Shai had an mvp performance and got the W, he willed them at the end.

:dead: Holy shyt the fan that Zach Lavine got into a beef with is the SIA collective shoe owner.

Didn’t even know he was a Kings fan. All the business he did with the Clippers and Lakers and he’s a kings fan

True. People get so caught up trying to down play him in favor of Jokic... that they ignore Shai is currently having as great a season as any guard in league history. See how those same numbers from earlier compare to the best of Mike, Kobe, and Curry:

'26 Shai32.2 PPG20 FGAs55% FG41% 3PT90% FT5 RPG6.6 APG1.7 Turnovers
'06 Kobe35.4 PPG27 FGAs45% FG35% 3PT85% FT5 RPG4.5 APG3.1 Turnovers
'88 Jordan35.0 PPG24 FGAs54% FG13% 3PT84% FT6 RPG6.0 APG3.1 Turnovers
'16 Curry30.1 PPG20 FGAs50% FG45% 3PT91% FT5 RPG6.7 APG3.3 Turnovers

If he sustains this pace and the Thunder go on to win another 68-70 games...

In theory he’s right. However, the entitlement is high.
It’s not his job to scold any player & the energy he put towards Zach he got right back :manny:
