Facts the only reason why "KD blended so well with the Warriors" was because Curry created so much gravity, it allowed him the space he needed to run more ISO plays

The issue
Kd is a generational player but he’s not harden or lebron on the offense. He can’t run the offense like those two. This dude has a lot of weak or lazy passes that get easily turned over. He doesn’t make it easy to get him the ball either. The amount of turnovers we have trying to pass him the ball is aggravating.
When we played warriors i often used to think kd made it easier to defend the warriors. He slowed down their ball movement and also when you put the ball in his hands and he tried to anything but be a bucket, it was a good defensive possesion. Ime and stone overestimated his point forward and facilitating skills. He can be pressured into some ball decisions and turnovers more easier than folks realized.
the issue is the offensive system and that’s k I’m also a big issue noone talks about is KD doesn’t help out the offense when he doesn’t have the ball. He doesn’t have that gravity off ball. And he doesn’t do shy off ball!! He don’t cut or move anywhere . He jsut stands in one place and wait and see. Combine that with the mandatory’s two non perimeter threats Ime to keep on the floor for defensive purposes and our offense is even easier to guard than last year. And we’re slower and don’t get out in transition anymore.

its about the time of the year when a lot of teams start having growing pains. but even then, second round for houston is better than last year
they'll have plenty of trades available going into next season too

And i know we not gonna make injury or roster excuses for him but omit our situation. He a decade younger than Kevin and this is his MVP/revenge season i thought
Ultimately SAS, DEN, BOS are all capable of stacking wins without Wemby, Jokic, and Tatum… so this early 2000s-2010s concept of one guy (AI, Dwight, Bron, etc) carrying a flawed team against flawed competition… that ain’t reality in this era. There is a sweet spot of roster construction and implemented system, outside of the main guy.
That said, we weren’t winning no championship with Jalen, Dillion, and Cam so the KD deal made sense; especially since we still kept Sengun and Amen, which are the two pieces that would have to become superstars anyway for last years team to have ever amounted to shyt. If Amen ain’t that guy, if Sengun is just a glorified #2, if Bari is just a broke boy corner man, if Ime ain’t steering nothing but pawgs then these are all issues that’ll have to be addressed this summer or down the road soon.

Bari been in the league for 4 years now.if he hasnt figured out by now from watching professional ballers night in and out that his handles aren’t nba caliber and he shouldn’t be trying to create his own or anybody else offense off his own dribble, I dunno what to say. There’s no hierarchy to Houston’s offense. Players need to be reigned in on their roles.
