Another big lead blown by the Spurs. Unbelievable. Coaching is ass. IDK what Mitch Johnson is doing.

Rotations? ass.
Out of bounds plays? ass
late-game offense? ass

He lets steph castle operate the offense way more that fox and it makes no sense at all. No matter how many turnovers he commits
Sometimes i cant even tell if they're running an offense :scust:

And ofc, the players need to get their heads out of their asses. Wemby was abysmal tonight, Fox is a ghost, and Castle continues to be underwhelming. Why did they trade for and max a point guard so he can be a point some of the time?

Nobody listened to me when I said Fox isn't gonna be able to get the easy buckets playing with Wemby that he got from playing with Sabonis.

OK. If that’s the case why not trade him? They could’ve moved him innumerable times by now
Because he sucks and nobody actually wants him.

This isn't 2K. Teams actually have to want to trade for you.

I thank the basketball gods every day that the Warriors were stupid enough to turn down Malik Monk and a 1st round pick for this bum.

a lot of it is because Fox doesnt even handle the ball all that much. He's playing the fukking shooting guard position on this team mostly. Makes no fukking sense

why did the Spurs trade for, and then max, a point guard, just to play him at the 2? :dahell:

This is the Spurs' THIRD TIME this decade trying to fit non-point guards into the point guard role. :dahell:

first it was Josh Primo, then it was Sochan, now it's Castle.

It's so simple: Let Foxy run the offense and have castle play off-ball as a cutter and play finisher, and occasionally make an extra pass here and there

The Spurs have other roster issues like playing guys like Harrison Barnes and Carter bryant out of their natural positions bc they dont have a good PF, but the ORTG for the spurs falls off a cliff with Castle running it. Been like this since christmas, so nearly a month of the season.

That's my point - clearly he has some value as that's a fine return for a part you don't even want. Either the Warriors FO is massively incompetent or this is something personal

But is ok with him being buried on the bench? :patrice:
kerr doesn't want to play him at all - but its not like he can bully a Team USA gold medalist and NBA champion coach into shyt. the rest of the players ain't gonna throw a hissy fit about their playing time being safe either

media making this GS conflict sound like its some unique situation but there's a kuminga on every team in the league every few years lol... windhorst is right

killian hayes and frank kaminsky had trade demands too :dead: only difference is GS owner can throw money at more problems

So glad I didn’t buy a ticket to this game.

One of the few national TV games we have and we’re doing the bring LaMelo off the bench thing and of course the Cavs start out with a 19-4 lead.

I know we’ve gotta get creative with his minutes restrictions, but now this just give people like Draymond more validity to his tanking claims

What's the science behind benching Lamelo??
He only comes off the bench on back-to-backs. In those games, he’s on roughly a 25-minute limit, with the aim of saving those minutes for the fourth quarter in close games, which is easier to manage when he’s not starting. He hasn’t played more than 48 games in a season since 2022, so it makes sense for the team to try a different approach to managing his workload
