Them Wemby matchups almost makes you forget that Chet is nice in his own right. He's a year younger than Evan Mobley but averages the same points and rebounds while taking 2-less shots and playing 4-less minutes.
Ofc the issue with Chet is his game is like Anthony Davis; they're at their best finishing plays, not facilitating or creating, which means their offensive dominance is contingent on the collective IQ of their teammates giving concerted multiple effort attempts to look for them in a possession. And that just doesn't always happen consistently, which leads to stretches where they appear invisible on offense.
Wemby dealt with that too actually, more-so the previous two years. He'll be guarded soundly in his first effort to get open but will get himself wide open in the 2nd or 3rd effort but by then his teammates got some other shyt in mind, going yolo jackin up some shyt.
This, opposed to Jokic, Embiid, Giannis where their playstyles or personalities dictate that even the most dumbass teammate has no choice but to give them the ball at start of the possession and figure things out afterwards.
