Shai gets ppl furious because he almost always outperforms everyone’s favorite players in head-to-head
You notice it’s always the same excuses
His team fouls too mych
He pushes off too much
He flops
His team is too stacked
Meanwhile, Detroit fouls every play too, Kawhi & Tatum been pushing off for a decade, Luka & Harden been floppin for a decade, LeBron & Curry made their careers on far more stacked super teams…
Ppl just hate to admit that this Caribbean Canuck may simply be better than Jokic, Ant, Luka, Brown, Tatum, etc.,

The difference in Jaylen & Shai is some of the shots Jaylen takes don’t necessarily need to be taken. It’s one thing to miss high quality looks and it’s another to miss bullshyt

I bolded what was true. All of the Shai complaints are legitimate AND he’s probably the best player in the league. It’s why the complaints are so loud. It makes him more unstoppable. I agree it’s an nba problem… that’s been a problem since Wade in ‘06 vs the Mavs. The rules aren’t going to adapt.

It’s a copycat league. Dudes see what works and try it. Shai has made the league worse with this because he’s truly mastered baiting
