Rose had the most overrated year

I always thought that.I roll with a bunch of Chicago nikkaz. My cousin and best friend are from Chi town.

I was at a barbeque with them and a bunch of other Chicago cats.It was right when Rose won the MVP.

We got to talking about hoops and I mentioned how I thought Rose was a lil overrated.I thought he had phenomenal potential/athleticism, but his numbers that year wasn't anything special. How his high volume/low efficiency stats that year would be a throw away season for Allen Iverson...or how I've seen a guy like Stephon Marbury put up similar stats, but get shytted on for it.

Wasn't even trying to diss Rose, but I almost didn't make it out the door.Them nikkaz turned on me QUICK.

I thought Rose definitely had MVP potential, but the NBA gave it to him for some "green bananas" numbers. He was the quiet, humble dude they were eager to market, so they were in a rush to give him the MVP.

In hindsight yea. In the moment was right tho. The Bulls had no business finishing #1 in the East that season. That said, Dwight Howard had a hell of a case for MVP

stat wise 09 chris paul but If I had to pick, one of the two as my starting pg, I'd pick '15 curry by a hair over '09 cp3 just cuz of his shooting clutch-ness. The bulls fan in me would obviously pick rose ....

I don't think Rose is in this discussion...

The numbers tell me Chris Paul makes a great case but I always remember dude being passive in the playoffs and he was not as much a scoring threat as Curry.

So it's close but I would go with Curry. He torched teams in the playoffs (besides a few blips here and there) and won the championship.

2011 Rose was a beast. :whew:

Unfortunately breh just ran into Bron n em. :francis:

Sucks all dem injuries derailed his rise to da top. Breh coulda really been somethin special.

If Curry can ova come dem ankles...Rose can hopefully overcome dem knees. :mjcry:

I would love to be how efficient curry is when hes doubled all over the court because teams dont respect your shooters and no one else can create their own shot
