YesUnnecessary element?
We just saw arguably the greatest playoffs performance from a PG since Magic, and you deem that an unnecessary extra element all because one of them performed badly during that postseason?

That's not enough, even so, surely you would've see teams swarming Curry at the top of the 3-pt line in every series. And surely you would've noticed that the Warriors actually don't have an array of shooters. And surely you would've noticed that Curry was one of the very few players on the team that could create their own shot. All their playoff games
CP3 averaged 23ppg that season,fukk wrong with you? 23ppg 11apg and 5rpg isn't a complete game?
CP3 that year was unstoppable and efficient
What numbers are you talking about specifically? Would Rose even have the opportunity to shoot the ball 23/24 times a game with Klay on his team, with the rest of the Bulls starters? What about the fact that Rose played with Boozer and Deng? 2011 Boozer although isn't the defensive player Draymond is, he's certainly equal on the offensive end. Like Deng, he was certainly close to Thompson as well. It's not as straight forward as replacing Bogans with Thompson.
SO YOURE SAYING WITH A STRAIGHT FACE..
REPLACE BOGAWD WITH KLAY
AND ROSES NUMBERS DONT IMPROVE...
LOL
They wouldn't improve by much if at all. Maybe a couple more assists but Rose is an inefficient scorer. The addition of Klay would take away shots & probably points from Rose

Rose got hurt in the first playoff game of the following seasoni wanna pick Rose but Curry got a championship. Wasn't that the year Rose got hurt in the playoffs? Paul was great that year but he didn't win MVP
1. Curry
2. Rose
3. Paul
Damn. I was expecting Rose to be a runaway. Athletically, he was as frightening as Curry's ability to get hot with the jumper.
1. DRose
2. Curry
3. CP3

One thing's for sure, Rose at 22 isn't better than what we've seen from Curry this past season. It's an unfair comparison, for that simple fact. I don't know why dudes are even mentioning Paul as the #1, since when the fukk did he show any capability of carrying the #1 scoring load in the playoffs?
This has gotten absurdI don't think Rose is in this discussion...
The numbers tell me Chris Paul makes a great case but I always remember dude being passive in the playoffs and he was not as much a scoring threat as Curry.
So it's close but I would go with Curry. He torched teams in the playoffs (besides a few blips here and there) and won the championship.
When has Paul ever proven he can carry the scoring load in the playoffs like Curry has? Serious question. He's not that type of player, he's even admitted so.This has gotten absurd
ROSE WON 62 GAMES IN 2011
AND MADE THE ECF.
DOES HE WIN 70+ AND A CHIP WITH KLAY
INSTEAD OF KEITH BOGAWD STARTING AT THE 2?
The difference with this is, when has Paul ever had a postseason run even close to what Curry has just done? Paul typically shoots 15 times a game in the playoffs, that's simply not enough to win games.Even Shaq in that 2000 Championship run had a couple of bad games.
More games played= more Chances for subpar performances
He can't score on the level of Curry. If that's what you meant, then I agreeWhen has Paul ever proven he can carry the scoring load in the playoffs like Curry has? Serious question. He's not that type of player, he's even admitted so.
