From 9:35 on Ransom explains EXACTLY what I've been trying to explain for years. nikkas try to redefine what lyrical is soooooo badly because they wanna prop up corny nikkas like Eminem and Lupe Fiasco. All that convoluted shyt ain't special and it definitely doesn't leave a long-lasting imprint or makes for good music. I knew nikkas on here were lost when they told me Biggie wasn't lyrical. What Biggie did was more special and he got lines that nikkas from all walks of life have been quoting and sampling for years. Saying less and leaving a nikka like  is a far greater talent than whatever the fukk Lupe be doing.
Yup, which why I reject a lot of these supposed super Lyrical nikkas. If you ain’t saying nothing with that I could give a fukk about your rhyme scheme…

Dope example,

You can be the shyt, flash the fattest five (that's right)
Have the biggest dikk, but when your shell get hit
You ain't worth spit, just a memory
Remember he used to push the champagne Range (I 'member that)
Silly cat, wore suede in the rain
Swear he put the G in game, had the Gucci frame
Before Dana Dane, thought he ran with Kane
I can't recall his name (what was his name?), you mean that kid
That nearly lost half his brain over two bricks of cocaine?
Gettin' his dikk sucked by Crackhead Lorraine?
A fukkin' shame, duke's a lame, what's his name?
Dark-skin Jermaine, see what I mean?

Ok. I don’t fukk with Lyrical miracle shyt. I don’t quite get that from Lupe either. What I DO notice is that certain cats who look at themselves as lyricists tend to say that about cats who they feel are better than them lyrically. Sort of like an insecurity. Royce is more lyrical miracle than Lupe and that nikka had Royce on his album. Lol. And I actually agree with the premise of what Ransom is saying. Eminem has become lyrical miracle. That term doesn’t fit a Lupe imo.

Lupe isn’t lyrical miracle.
Those are the dudes that can’t do anything but rhyme words but can’t create a song . Lupe has hits .

I fw Ransom but he’s more lyrical miracle than Lupe is . I wouldn’t exactly put him in that category either though .

nikkas equate being lyrical miracle with rappers using words and creating concepts they don’t understand . That’s the only reason you’ll say Lupe is lyrical miracle but guys like Griselda ,Ransom and Gibbs aren’t (none of these nikkas are IMO)

Nobody cares about your Lupe takes my guy you are not an objective party when it comes to Lu. What you been tryna say is not being heard because of the messenger.

Not at all what it means. Lupe is a great poster child for that. It means you are great at rhyming words to the point that you don’t care about no other part of the song. You doing super complex rhyme schemes and all that shyt but it’s not adding to the song.
Another example was canibus, he could rap all day but couldn’t make a good song to save his life. It’s like you only understand one part of being an artist.

Bur then you have guys like Eminem and Kendrick who are lyrical miracle but can make good songs too. It’s not a bad thing but a lot of them dudes be putting too much infasis on that part and not enough on the rest of the song.
I wouldn't say Canibus couldn't make a song, Canibus has some great records, but I understand what you mean.

Lu got more fleshed out songs than Ran. Songs that crossed over. These nikkaz talking about people they ain't seen accomplishment wise.
I never understood this though, so because someone has bigger records you're not allowed to critique their art? I don't understand what Lupe having bigger records has to do with if they can talk about him or not.

Lupe is 100% a lyrical miracle nikka
Lupe can make a hit record whenever he feels like it and his songs actually have direction. Whether they can be cryptic in deeper meaning or not. Royce is more lyrical miracle than Lupe and Ran got Royce on his album. Like I said alotta Street lyricists say that about nikkas they feel are lyrically better than them as an insecurity. He don’t feel Royce is lyrically better than him. But I bet u he’s insecure about Lupe. Lupe can be lyrical miracle. But that’s not the way I would describe him overall. He’s overly cryptic on average. On average Royce is lyrical miracle. Rapping about rapping type shyt.

Royce and Lupe are both lyrical miracle nikkas to me. You can have direction and have hits and still be "lyrical miracle". Lyrical miracle to me is being overly complex and technical for the sake of showing off skills and not for the betterment of the song or making it relatable but solely to show off your prowess as a MC. They both do that all the time.
