I never understood this though, so because someone has bigger records you're not allowed to critique their art? I don't understand what Lupe having bigger records has to do with if they can talk about him or not.

Lupe can make a hit record whenever he feels like it and his songs actually have direction. Whether they can be cryptic in deeper meaning or not. Royce is more lyrical miracle than Lupe and Ran got Royce on his album. Like I said alotta Street lyricists say that about nikkas they feel are lyrically better than them as an insecurity. He don’t feel Royce is lyrically better than him. But I bet u he’s insecure about Lupe. Lupe can be lyrical miracle. But that’s not the way I would describe him overall. He’s overly cryptic on average. On average Royce is lyrical miracle. Rapping about rapping type shyt.

Why assume Ran is insecure about Lupe? I don't get it. Maybe...just maybe...he's not a big fan of Lupe brand of rap and he believes what he does is better.

Lyrical miracle to me is being overly complex and technical for the sake of showing off skills and not for the betterment of the song or making it relatable but solely to show off your prowess as a MC.

Ionno I just feel like it’s too lazy of a take to describe Lupe as that when u don’t give the cats u actively work with that same description.

Off the strength that he works with someone more lyrical miracle that Lupe but doesn’t offer the same criticisms. But hey. Maybe u right. Maybe I’m wrong.
