You can eliminate those TV/Movie streaming services by simply using free sites...

Spotify & PS Now is worth the 10 bucks per month.

IDK what's the purpose of YouTube Red, I watch videos just fine on the free YouTube..

Otherwise I agree with this thread, its absurd for Microsoft office to have an subscription :martin:
I’m a fan of the Playstation brand, but PS Now is garbage. If Sony invested money in proper PS3 emulation, PS Now would be amazing, though. As is, it’s a streaming service filled with forgettable deadweight - a bunch of games no one cares about and the occasional high profile release.

The win is that consumers get up to date products that are expensive and took years to develop, and customers are now able to consume them cheaply on a monthly basis
It's crazy how delusional and ungrateful consumers are lol
Cheaper for who?

Do you know how much of a headache that is to transfer and plug your phone into the computer/laptop each time a new album or song comes out?
Plug a phone in? :dahell:
You can't download straight onto your phone?

then just sell it. :mindblown:

You know good and got damn well you not buying any mobile games in 2022. You will definitely download for free to kill time.

Then you'll get into it. But the ads will frustrate you. Boom you now paid 2.99 to get rid of those damn ads. Lather, rinse, repeat.

There's tons of data and billions of dollars that confirm that, unfortunately, that's the best way to do it. The sell through rate by going freemium, or free to play with micro transactions is actually better than just straight up charging for a lot of games/developers.

And they get to eat off of people who don't buy with ad revenue. It's bullshyt, but it is what it is.

On the topic of Office, unless something's changed in the last few years, you can still buy a standalone license for whatever the most recent full release is. The pitch for O365 is that you also get all of the iterative updates they make for the office suite in between know and the tentpole releases.

As someone who used to sell it, the vast majority of people using Office really don't make full use of the basic features anyway, so realistically speaking, the in between updates really aren't as groundbreaking as Microsoft would like you to think.
