How come it never applies to any musicians other than Black musicians. When Black people played Blues they were accused of negatively influencing society. When White people stole that music and called it Country or Folk music then all of a sudden it was fine.

When Black people invented Rock and Roll it was called the devil's music. When lame ass White people stole it then all of a sudden the music was fine. Same thing with Jazz.

This is nothing more but another way to blame the Black man.

Get over yourself man.

People called Elvis the devils music.

How explicit is rap music compared to other genus. Yes their are satanic rock groups but nothing that is consumed at the rate and exposure as modern rap.

Even so I don’t blame the black man I blame the white executives who push this type of explicit music.

Remember when chamilniare came out with riden dirty, then wanted to create a non explicit album with a positive message and got no push from his label and faded out of existence.

It’s not the rappers fault, labels want to push explicit content, cause it sells. Yeah most people who listen to it do it for entertainment but there’s a small few who are influenced by it specifically young kids.

But hers the twist I don’t think it influences black kids I believe it influences white suburban kids who want to fit in more then anything.

Does rap influence people yeah, to party, relax, dance, have a good time, etc. and when you hear someone cursing, yelling and talking about killing other men over petty things, over and over again your mentality will change.

The issue is inflammatory drill rap.

These guys are constantly sending diss records to their enemies and it's causing revenge attacks.

selling drugs and using guns existed well before rap became a huge part of american culture…y’all are forcing an extreme narrative on ppl by saying they believe rap has zero influence when folks are saying some of y’all are overstating the influence it has…that hitmaka clip that some of y’all latched onto is not the norm where kids of millionaires are flocking to the streets to sell crack bcuz of DMX…unfortunately selling drugs and gun violence have been a path some poor black ppl have always been faced with bcuz of a lack of options due to shytty upbringing and education

If a rich kid is Influenced by rap why would the poor kid in the hood not be the same? The only difference is you are giving them a pass for their actions because they are poor

Both are stupid as fukk instead of addressing the real problems nikkas want to scapegoat rap because they don’t like the music of today

shyt will never change because nobody wants to put in the actual work.
To pretend hip hop isnt the biggest influence for the youth is asinine. I was in high school and saw how dipset made blood popular and people repping that out of the blue. And they werent coming from dire poverty

Nyc teens are using chicago slang and behaving like them.

The average drug dealer is making less than minimum wage and using their money to buy bullshyt not pay rent or build businesses.

Im tired of the delusion and deflectio . It's not worth having the convo anymore because of the dishonesty

Just because it doesn’t effect you doesn’t mean it doesn’t other

Someone can eat fried food every day and drink alcohol every day and die of old age at 100. Doesn’t mean that it doesn’t effect someone else if they eat and drink like thst

Rap music is demonic

A poor kid in the hood sees it all day and might know of it first hand and realizes gangster rap is just glamorized.

The rich kid thinks it’s all glamours and doesn’t realize people get killed, go to jail. The women you attract are most likely on drugs (crack heads) and it’s constantly watching behind your back for someone trying to rob you.

Yet another music genre becomes a scapegoat for crime, meanwhile white teens aka the biggest consumers of rap seem to be doing just fine، almost like crime is a whole lot more complex than just rap bad.

Get over your goofy self because Elvis was shunned for playing Black people music you dummy. That is why he was shunned. He was playing Black people music which was called the Devil's music.

If Mick Jaeger and other rock and country musicians are not responsible for White people opiod drug addictions then why are rappers the only people being blamed for societal ills.

This is just more ways to blame Black people for shyt.

i don’t think rap will START anyone on selling or whatever but it can absolutely be an influence to keep going that’s undeniable

when i first started smoking weed daily i was listening to all the get high songs i’d even go outta my way to find dope get high songs and blast them shyts while rolling up and smoking :manny:

at the end of the day like most things in life it depends on the person there’s no catch all that you can apply to everyone regarding this, some people let the music influence them and some listen for entertainment purposes only

Crime was worse before rap and if we got rid of it today crime would be just as bad or worse nothing would change but people don’t want to look at themselves and do the work.
