nelly has always been garbage to me.. he never fell off because he was never hot.. if you listened to that BS back in the day and dont like it now.. its because you found out you used to be a lil bytch..

CAM Clearly is not as good as he used to be.. anyone who is a fan and has been a fan can tell the difference between SDE CAM and lazy cam of today...

I think he still as good...you even added to the point with him being lazy

I just think the fire is gone...

Being lazy dosent mean the skillset is gone,it just means your bored and go with the motions...

there's a difference between putting out bad albums, and losing your technical skill. most rappers, after a few albums, usually just don't care anymore. you can always tell someone who takes awhile to write their rhymes, vs the abc rhymers that could do a whole song in like 5 mins. back in the day, you would put all of your time into a debut, cause you knew it was the only chance that you may get. now, they just don't care. you can put out music anyway possible and not even have to have talent.

Exactly

yeah Camel Stans would agree with u...but most actual fans of hip hop are prob disgusted

Prodigy and Alchemists Einstein album was 10x better

10x better.. nah and i love that album... but hearing prodigy rap about the same shyt hes been rapping about for the past 12 years is not better than the shyt hov was talking about on Oceans or somewhereinamerica..

Yea DMX didnt fall off, his fans just matured, if you think about it Undisputed is just as good as Its Dark and Hell is Hot.. the crack kicking in had nothing to do with it :krs:!
Eminem didnt fall off, I could picture Berzerk being on the original MMLP and I could see him collabing with pop stars 13 years ago :gladbron:
Cam didnt fall off lyrically but his overall music ive heard in the past year just sounds lazy and poorly mixed with wack beats..
Even though a lot of rapers fall off lyrically, its more than just lyrics.. its their ear for beats, its their voice, how in touch they are with shyt today.. a lot of shyt goes into rappers falling off

If your logic stood true, since listeners are so mature now they wouldnt still listen to those old albums and feel that they are classic, plus its not like any of the popular rappers of today are spitting any more advanced shyt than nikkas were spitting 10 years ago :stopitslime:

Exactly...

I think when Jimmy and Elz went on stage with 50,that was a big blow to cam because with all the other shyt that was going on,he loooked vulnerable...

I believe that Killa is still bitter about the Jay-z thing{which he has a right to be} and the dipset fall out...

A nikka could make heat and be on tracks with mariah carey, but a nikka with power and influence who feels threatened by you can literally blackball your career...

I do believe it will take nikkas to come at cam sideways for him to really get going again musically...

Because then the fire and edge will come together with the skillset

You can tell Cam still doesnt fukk with Juelz and Jim like that, even after the "reunion" u never see them together unless its a concert or a club appearance theyre getting paid to show up at..

I personally enjoyed Cams run with Vado from 09-11, he had songs buzzing in the tri-state area on the radio and the mixtapes were popping but then Vado failed to blow up and then they just stopped working together and Vado signed to Khaled I think that played a part in him falling back and losing motivation too, after putting so much effort into something and getting nothing in return

Hopefully Ghetto Heaven is good otherwise its official that hes :flabbynsick: :to:

I listened to Gunz and Butta and Cam was spitting some shyt on there...

He killed the feature with wiz and the joint with nicki,,also some mac miller song..

He still got it

I dont know who Cam hangs around when he is in the studio, but there is no way I would co-sign some of the joints he been coming out with lately...

A-Mafia has had more bangers imo in the last year than Cam..

Its crazy because he can be put in the Larry Holmes gardens and then show up on someone else's record and literally put them to shame

It's a mix of both.

Eminem clearly has fallen off the wagon, and while he still has a high/sharp level of skill, his overall package isn't the same as it used to be. Sometimes you look at Em performances from the last couple years where he performs his older stuff, and he can barely even get the flow he used on the song right. Sometimes rappers just get :flabbynsick:. Maybe they don't have the same creative minds around them anymore. Who knows?

Of course with some changes and more styles coming and going, I think fans can mature, but also in some instances, their main interests just shift as rappers fall off. 10 years ago I could care less about Rick Ross...now? :krs: He just be cranking out bangers fam...I Wonder Why....I WONDER WHY?!?!
