jay-z..and im talkin bout the early, "skippity-be-bop" fast rappin jay..shyt was wack to me

"you say never you run if eva you u come its neva u run so fast in ya life to neva have won" :what: :laff: dude was trash

Thats an ill line you quoted and I liked Fu Schnickens Jay a lot.

Of course, RD Jay > Buh-Buh-Buh Bam Jay

But Fu Schnickens Jay wasn't wack so he doesn't fit this category.

Ross improved. Wayne improved then turned trash after a while. Del improved over time. Mobb Deep's debut was :trash: then they dropped classics.

Juvenile Hell wasn't wack - but the increase in quality with Infamous was dramatic.

I might catch heat from the other old nikkas, but....

Sean Price. Not saying Sean was wack.. nah, Sean Price never been wack.... but....

I literally used to listen to Heltah Skeltah for Rock's verses and Sean's sense of humor when I was younger.

Sean went to jail and came back......

:wtf::why::mindblown:

They was both dope on Nocturnal. That album is a personal classic for me. Picked it up the same day I did Reasonable Doubt, It Was Written, Stakes is High and the AIDS compilation. I hold the first HS album in as high regard as the other three listed.

Camron from Confessions of Fire to S.D.E. was a big change from wack to dope.

COF was :scusthov: while SDE/CHWM/PH was :blessed: . Cam was sounding like Drag-On on COF:snoop:

Cam = most improved rapper in history.

From unlistenable clarity, offkey flows and the worst mic presence of the nee rappers from his gen.
to the highest skill executing emcee in every category of rap since 2000.

I actually prefer the Confessions of Fire Cam'Ron "lyrically" even though his flow was terrible in retrospect

I think Cam was the best in the COC days. His verse on 8 is Enough was nice.

Drake: I'm glad he's starting to realize that singing/harmonizing sh!t is for the birds

Jeezy: HATED him w/a passion when he first came out, but when "Can't Ban The Snowman" dropped, he started improving A LOT album by album and mixtape by mixtape. Even TM101 has "aged" damn good.

Rocko has gotten better over time.

Drake still sings and that is what makes his music so unique.

The harmonizing on Started from the bottom Is the best part of the song

What you described is not Jeezy getting better, but you stopped disliking his music

The #1 answer is Ross

When POM came out... No one would have expected they rapper to be able to make a song like Pirates.

No Jeezy has gotten better from album to album. Improved/changed up his flow and somewhat changed up his style once his voice got messed up. He's improved. Every album he's dropped was better than the previous album imo (except 103 wasn't better than The Recession).

I know Drake still sings/harmonzies every now and then, but it isn't as "prominent" as it once was. Even from an artist standpoint, he's gotten better too.

:rudy: There is no harmony on started from the bottom breh. The bridge is unison. Otherwise I agree with you
