Tyler is the king of that "Lookie here, I'm going against the grain" type shyt. His pretentious ass most likely downplayed it. He has not a single gully bone in his body. fukking B.o.B g-checked that nikka. Tyler that nikka in school that clowns in the back of class, but when you tell him to shut the fukk up, he gets quiet and start taking his notes again.

funny he didnt mention Wayne since Kdot is def influenced by Wayne a good bit...

also funny that he essentially took Biggie off the greats list and replaced him.
Even though he did not directly say it, I believe he was referring to rappers who are alive. I dont think he purposely left BIG off, at all.

that's because biggie is only dead one out of the trio and can't respond or react in anyway and he had to take someone out to reappropriate that bar :snoop: some of you dudes are retarded

He's influenced by a lot of rappers.
Andre 3k, Jay-Z and Eminem I'd say have a bigger influence than
Wayne.
It's more than obvious which songs certain people have listened to when they say
Wayne is a big inspiration.

And at one point Bone Thugs especially on Section 80...but he's goin hard wit the Andre 3K influence now to the point if u put 3K's voice over his rhymes it would sound exactly like his style...listen to that How Many Drinks verse...

i feel like the Wayne influence was big on his old music..pre-section 80..i dont hear it much now...but listening to that old music makes me know Kdot had a nice Wayne phase...and alot of us did.

He did "The Carter 4" which has a lot of mimicking of Wayne's style but he said on
a later tape that it was intentional., calling the tape (The carter 4) a "Power move".
I'm guessing he did it to show he was better than Lil Wayne.
Because prior to that tape he has several instances where he raps
like Biggie, Jay-Z, Em, Andre 3k etc.
Usually channeling them when he raps over there instrumentals.
His Jay-Z flow and Andre 3K flows in particular are spot on.

hex is one of the realest dudes on twitter...
Yup. Good to see these cats get the point. This isn't about how you feel RIGHT NOW. It's about how much effort you're putting into your rhymes today, tomorrow, next year, etc. nikkas been lazy.

How much time is put into those forgettable verses Ross, Drake, Wayne, etc do together? You haven't heard anyone arguing about who got who on a Khaled record since We Taking Over. Collabs used to be an event. You heard Meth was on Biggie's album and you bought that shyt to see who got who. Not in a negative way because you fukked with both nikkas, but in the same way a non-fanboy NBA viewer will watch Kobe and LeBron go at it. End of the night you (usually) are entertained by both players. That shyt rarely happens today. The label just looks at the metrics, figures out who they need on the song, and cut the check. Beat is sent by email, verse sent back by email, then everyone shows up for the video.

You know who took the biggest L in all this? French Montana. Because IMO he represents this lazy attitude of rappers today, where you type out some struggle bars on your iPhone, spit on a couple takes, and call it a day. What kind of man can sit back and let his career be defined by his feature list? I didn't even know Pop That was his song when I first heard it.
