Nas himself said Jay Elect didn’t write for him so unless any PROOF is shown by way of reference tracks or something of that ilk its a non starter
I don't wanna believe it either but this is coming directly from Jay Elec's camp. Jay Elec himself is very active in that server.
So we’re saying Nas, with over THIRTY YEARS as a reputation for being one of the greatest writers in Hip Hop, is a liar?
Because he out or his own mouth said it didn't happen
Ghostwriting has been and will always be extremely important
This is a fact. Drake has ghostwriters and he's also written for Lil Wayne. Full verses. What will befor a lot of posters is plenty of rappers have had assistance and have also ghostwritten for others themselves.
Anyone who's ever worked in a creative field knows it's common to trade ideas and incorporate them in your work
Reality is most our favorite rappers probably spit bars (if not full verses or songs) that came from someone else

Jay said it himself.
I don't care about his manager.
People get ghostwriting and writing confused too much. It’s not ghostwritten if it’s credited, like Cyhi the prince. He’s credited on most of what he’s done

Yep its worth it because songwriting will forever be huge. For music without writing is a non-starter.
Ghostwriting has been and will always be extremely important
Actually the biggest acts right now don't write their music.
Lil Baby, Youngboy, Gunna, Durk, Young Thug, Future, etc don't write really. They just say shyt and punch in until the song is done. It works because they are generally more melodic and aren't just rappers.
