Actually the biggest acts right now don't write their music.

Lil Baby, Youngboy, Gunna, Durk, Young Thug, Future, etc don't write really. They just say shyt and punch in until the song is done. It works because the shyt they do isn't or is barely Hip-Hop, and the bar is under Hell..

Anyone who's ever worked in a creative field knows it's common to trade ideas and incorporate them in your work

Reality is most our favorite rappers probably spit bars (if not full verses or songs) that came from someone else

If anyone needs help with this bullshyt they call music today, they are in some trouble. I can create whole goddamn wack ass albums over the course of weekends of this nonsense. The only thing I wouldn't have is promotion from labels. that's why anyone listens to anything today. Whatever is pushed, they follow. This isn't 1995 when you read the latest Source magazne or watched Rap City to find out about the new rappers. No, if it's on IG, tiktok, or youtube, they listen lol. And you want us to believe there is some type of lengthy process in creating this bullshyt. These mfers use the same drum patterns, same sounds, and same beat making templates. using a ghostwriter for trap music is like cheating on an open book test. it's just not needed.
