I think it was Drakes way of getting himself credit to Bay Area fans who remember and like 4-Tay's song. He wanted cats to be like "Oh sh*t, that nikka drizzy knows his sh*t!"Kinda like naming that random song "Wu-Tang Forever." If it was about giving 4tay credit he could have name dropped him or at least reached out to say he was gonna do it. But his intentions in doing it is a separate issue though. My point in my original post is you can't sh*t on 4tay for not automatically sucking Drakes d1ck because he used his lines especially when that kind of thing was a no no during the era 4-tay came in at.
Yeah i agree with this,if he was just on some random track with Jayz on a east coast beat using these lines it might be a little more suspect. But the fact is whether people want to believe it or not,when these type of songs get made nikkas think of The Bay
