Rap legends, most of Hip Hop knows most of their songs almost by heart, and their most well known lines would get quoted, so it would be painfully obvious who is getting quoted and it can be passed off as homage
As opposed to some obscure Bay nikka named 4Tay, I've never heard of dude, Drake could've said that those bars are his and I would've believed him...I assume this would've been the same for most of the Hip Hop fandom outside of the Bay...so 4Tay needed the shoutout.

Drake fans amaze me. In no way, shape or form is this excusable. I'm too young to even know who Rappin 4-Tay is but using his lyrics without shouting him out or contacting him first is definitely biting.
