Sitting out puts pressure on billionaire owners to put pressure on the government who in turn would need to change policy.

But it can't just be NBA players. You really need football to follow suit and would they? :patrice:

It's wild to me that people believe this. Raptors owner ain't even American. How exactly is he gonna put pressure on the Kenosha police dept?:gucci:

not at all, I said that to say those entities aren't going to be spurred to create a societal change by a one off boycott from NBA players. Now if this was a NFL team saying Imma miss a playoff game, that sport has sponsors and audiences that are more in line with police IMO. The NBA has a far higher share of watchers that already support the message the NBA is pushing. You'd have to have flip the non-supporters

but maybe I dont know shyt, I certainly dont know what strings Adam Silver, or Bob Iger, or whoever could pull, if push came to shove :yeshrug:

If they pockets start getting light i’m certain the league will get in touch with lawmakers who will push for certain things.

Shyt If Jay can reach the MN governor directly the NBA higher ups will have no problem :yeshrug:

Whether some clown ass cops agree or not is irrelevant
