That's what makes it subjective.A lot of females(men to...people in general) have a hard time recognizing what's truly valuable.A lot of times, selfishness gets in the way.When that happens, females(people in general) become victims to their own superficial, shallow ways.
Most people in the world carry a facade.Arrested development is on the rampage in this society.Some people may look like they have it all together on the surface, but spiritually/emotionally, they're just toddlers in an adult avatar.Asking them to recognize true value in a mate is like asking a 2 year old to understand the true value of money.They want the shiny stuff...fun...entertainment.."happiness".You know, the cartoons, not the 5 O'clock news.
Put a crumpled up 100 dollar bill and 3 shiny nickles in front of a group of 2 year olds and tell them to pick one or the other...I guarantee that they'll pick the 15 cents every time.Why?They don't understand true value.. "the shiny stuff" caught their eye(cough' "swag"..material possessions).That's how you swindle yourself.Before you know it, she's crying about having to make a dollar out of 15 cents...stuck with a "Madden King"(

Great points. However, I would have to ask the man who is looking for a particular woman to see his value, what kind of woman is she? Yes, most people are shallow and cannot see beyond their own fickle desires. But there are people who appreciate the meat of things.
The things you mention are true, however, some men try to take women who obviously have a low value system and try to make them appreciate something that only a high value woman would appreciate. And a high value man should only spend his time with high value women. Trying to make a woman like K Michelle truly appreciate a Barack Obama would be a challenge, however a Michelle Robinson would fall into place and act accordingly.
I've just seen too many instances where dudes are trying to sell a product to a woman who is not meant for that product. Like selling an Audi A7 to someone who lives in the projects. For example, a lot of "good" black men will complain about black women only wanting thugs. However, if you really look at it, these dudes are trying to get at chicks who are just in a different mind state. Again, its like Barack Obama trying to get at K Michelle and then wondering why she's playing games.
Most of the "rare black female" issues that black men experience would be alleviated by:
1. Being a quality product - dressing well, being groomed, being self-made (own spot, own car, paying own bills, etc), being well spoken, being healthy, having standards and NOT BEING THIRSTY FOR P#SSY OR FEMALE ATTENTION. Now, how many black men fit ALL of these categories at once?
2. Knowing your target market - knowing who looks guys like you. If you're a corporate brotha, then just accept that chicks like Briana Bette, K Michelle and Maliah are not for you and you're not for them. The lifestyles and mentalities simply don't mix. Brothas have a hard time with that because no matter how high a black man gets, he always keeps a few n#gga tendencies i.e. f#cking with big booty hoodrats and attention whores
3. Only selling to your target market - why market an Audi to people who live in the projects? It's a waste of time, money and energy. Focus on the market, middle class and up, who can and will buy your product. These people will appreciate all that went into the making of the product and will have the wherewithal to maintain that product
