As a single man, contrary to popular belief, you can live okay in LA off $50,000 but I'd say that's the floor, abd you can't live beyond your means. Be smart and
prudent. It is Los Angeles, so that salary isn't going to get you a spot by yourself in one of the more desirable areas, you'll have to level up...

Reality and myth are often difficult to separate, but you put in the work and level up from $50k, and you are responsible with managing your lifestyle, you can live like a king in LA at six figures. But it's all about what you prioritize, and you can't move to LA with less than a $50k offer (anything above that will just make your transition easier)...
LA on your list of places to leave Philly for? I'd love to move back to LA, but my daughters all out here. I've accepted it, but LA is my favorite city in the country, would did it 5 years ago if I had that flexibility...
