Outside of maybe 3- the rest of the females youve been posting, can barely sing.. don't write their own music.. and, rely heavily on studio magic.. so, it's clearly not a talent-based competition if we're keeping it a stack..

This is a competition on artistry with a highlighted emphasis on vocal ability.

So in a perfect world, voters will vote on the singer as a whole but always let vocal ability weigh the heaviest in their voting.

I wonder how many people have listened to her new albums or are just basing it off her old stuff. Her vocals have grown significantly since the 90s. She still isnt a powerhouse but shes easily above average. 7.5-8.

What made you do a thread on her? Can you start including some more old school singers that dont get talked about much like denice Williams, Stefanie mills, Dionne Warwick?

I like Mya. Brings back memories to me and my friends making up dances to her songs but I don't think she's worthy of this sort of thread. She's just an okay singer.
