The more I watch the battle, the lazier Verb's pen sounds. He also fumbles over quite a few words, but on the flipside he's learned to rap through his fumbles. He's ruined so many performance with those fumbles, at least I can still replay his rounds and enjoy them. That high pitching squealing really ain't it though.
Once again Mook was overly ambitious, but this was MUCH more enjoyable than his other two battles in this era.
I guess you have to put me in the category of battle rap fans who are now juelzing over the outcome of this battle. Mook was rusty, but he said a LOT more that I will remember.

Mook's schemes were pretty inventive, but I have to admit there's something hokey about how he delivers them. His shyt is just a little too "BA DUM BUM.... CHING" for battle rap. Verb's bars just come out sounding natural, you get the idea that he raps professionally. Mook sounds like he should have a broadcasting mic. It's like the punchline is lined up with a highlight of Odell Beckham catching a football with his left ankle or some shyt like that..... I think he's gotta smooth that out a little if he wants to keep battling.

The delivery needing improvement I can definitely agree with
But I think with the type of performance he gave at rbe he would still be able to hang with most battlers
And that’s because he just has the essence of a battle rapper
Like I tried to watch a jc battle the other day and don’t get me wrong the kid is a super talented writer but I just can’t take him serious at all
Now mook didn’t do himself any favors taking on the mayweather persona in battle rap cuz now a lot of people just want to see him lose
And it’s a lot easier to score a boxing match than it is to score a rap battle lol
I’ve seen some dumb ass reasons for why people gave verb the battle
Both these nikkas was half ass.

I don't think this changes anything for folks who still got Verb winning tho. I see what you mean because Mook had some intricate schemes and there was alot of good shyt he did. But I just preferred Verb's stronger approach to it. Like he cut the bullshyt and got straight to the point. Schemes and all that can be cool but when someone just goes at you with some real shyt and word play mixed in, the scheming can look drawn. I said before I thought Mook was good. And I'm not even a crazy Mook fan myself but he showed up. Verb was just hungrier to talk his shyt.

lol only time I have seen you in here is for Cassidy & now for Mook. You aren't a battle rap fan like that.
Let's just call it for what it is. His delivery what pretty terrible, but for someone that hasn't battled in 4 years, its to be expected. I've said this numerous times before, but it took Serius, Iron, & Reed multiple battles just to sound comfortable.
However, despite how bad I believe he sounded, plenty of people seemed very satisfied with his performance.

The only reason Verb didn’t completely obliterate Mook was twofold...
A) alll that weak, fragile bumping and tapping Ni66@z
B) crowd was ass, he could barely get his shyt off cause of the constant talking and interrupts.
