Baylor and Wilt were only healthy together for 1 season, 1969 - the people who just skim rosters on bball reference and try to point out Wilt's teammates often have no context. There are 1 or 2 seasons out of Wilt's entire career that he didn't win titles that I thought he COULD have won them. The rest of the seasons people just aren't aware who was actually on the floor with Wilt when it counted and how helpful they actually were.

You can say what you want but being surrounded by Jerry West and Gail Goodrich and others throughout his career and being as great as he is fair or not I can see why they say Wilt wasn't a winner. Though I don't agree with it because of some of the teams he faced his career finals record of 2-4 just doesn't look good for how great of a player he was. And Wilt was the man but he had moments where he backed down from the moment such as sitting out the final minutes of a game 7 against Russell with a knee injury. Now maybe he was injured or not but all that stuff is taken into consideration when you are being rated in sports history. Again, I think Wilt is the second best to ever to it but I can also see from the other side why people would rate others over him.

He was in his 30's by then and they won a ring in LA.
Philly had a couple of good players but Hal Greer wasn't quite prime Elgin or even Hondo.

U right and to even get one ring is an accomplishment. But the media always scrutinizes on the best player's for not winning more even back in those days. Imagine the criticism today if him and Jerry West teamed up and didn't win multiple titles together.

There can only be one champion. If Boston has five HOF players and Philly has just two, especially if Bill is a top 3 player, Cousy is a top 5 player as well as Hondo, Boston is likely going the win more times then not. It's like Bron in Cleveland and let's say you put a dream team in NY and had CP3, D12, Horf, and Durant. Would you take away from Bron that he couldn't beat them even if he might be better than all of them?

Tell me EXACTLY which seasons you have a problem with and I'll give you the context your probably unaware of. Context disappears after 50 years and it's easy to assume "well he had ____ so he should have won" but I'm tellin ya after researching his seasons it wasn't that simple. Just assuming he's "surrounded" like everything was on a silver platter for him isn't true. Certain seasons he played, even if the roster looked good at the beginning of the season, did not pan out due to injury/age/etc. And you also need to know the depth of the teams he was facing. Like I said only once or twice were the odds in Wilt's teams favor that Wilt could have won but did not.
