:mindblown: who are all these talented young players that keep leaving the Lakers :laff: Trevor Ariza is the only one and he kinda overrated. Fact is Kobe will never let his teammates to do there thing when he's taking 25+ ISO shots a game.
:patrice:
You right you right...I meant to say they either leave or we trade away the young talent.

To Be Fair Your Franchise Pulled Off HUGE Moves Geting Dwight Howard And Steve Nash

Not To Mention They Basically HAD A Chris Paul Deal Done

All Those "Horrible Moves" They Made Had Every Lakers Fan Co Signing Them And Every Media Outlet Calling Them The Favorite Out West

So Lets Stop Acting Like "They Arent Even Trying To Help Kobe"

I Dont See The Spurs Going Out There Way To Trade For Huge Names To "Help" Duncan

The Lakers Front Office Did Their Job Off The Court The Players Didnt Do Their Job On It

Ok, lets be fair then. Laker stans gave Mitch hella credit for the moves he has made. Yall forget that before Pau, Mitch was hated almost on the level that f'ucktoni is hated today. So I'd say he's gotten lots of propers in terms of making big moves. Mitch simply has a history of not only letting the talent pool dry up, but when he sees it happening he then tries to go for big names and it works out miserably. This years Lakers was basically the 2004 Lakers with their ineptitude on a deer antler binge.

Some of Mitch's best moves were his smaller ones, the Ariza trade, the Shannon Brown trade, if he had learned from his mistake and attacked the problems of the team(youth, perimeter defense, playmaking) we wouldn't be in this situation. Just a lack of vision and creativity overall, but good job good effort.

This is what happens you trade away all of your first round picks and sign older players to deals that restrict any flexibility.

The Spurs always are finding guys at the end of the 1st round... even in the 2nd round they'll find guys. They'll trade someone they took in the 1st (George Hill) and get a prospect just outside the lottery (Kwahi Leonard).

Duncan is the foundation. But Tony Parker was drafted at 19 years old at the end of the 1st in 2001... Ginobili was drafted at the end of the 2nd round in 1999 (after winning the 'chip) and let him come over when he was 25 years old after much seasoning playing international pro-bal.

They use the D-League too... they picked up Danny Green from there in 2011.

Can't shine shyt....:troll:

:whoa:

Mitch got Kobe Pau and I'm pretty sure it's the other way around in terms of coattails. Lets also keep in mind that shaq(Who Jerry West acquired) ain't win shyt til Kobe emerged as a great player in his own right. But you right, Kobe was some helpless passenger for all 5 titles even though he personally murdered teams(like the spurs) in that dynasty.

Next. :beli:

Fixed . :timmyumad: :nopostmoves:

If Mitch really was a beast he'd be doing these types of things on top of those big deals. Its not as if we can't buy draft picks. I mean seriously, who sees a problem with youth, defense at the PG, and thinks "Hmmm, how bout we get steve nash?" :beli:

25+ shots a game huh? Be real breh. This dude isn't :aicmon: or :mjpls:.

I've never seen a player have to completely switch up his game in the middle of a season to the point of becoming a full time PG taking 10-13 shots just to accommodate teammates. It's ridiculous. Kobe has won championships taking ~20 shots per game and that shouldn't be out of the question for a player of his caliber.

Mitch had good intentions and everything looked good on paper, but the "team" is poorly constructed for today's NBA as is.

Mitch is overrated. He's gotten seduced by always going for the big names.

There are guys in the D-League who could play better on the wing than Ron Artest at this point.

but didnt you have them pegged to win a title when the season was starting?

im confused

Dudes are just being emotional.

LOTS of people had the Lakers pegged for at the very least one of the top five records and a possible trip to the finals. It just so happend that everything that could have gone wrong this past season DID go wrong, from players not meshing to injuries, to bad coaching.

Dudes acting like this team didn't go to the finals 7 times and win 5 championships in the past decade.

Your not understanding me, we give credit for those moves but that's not enough. If you cant get CP3 then go for a more affordable young PG not a 39 year old no defense playing overrated bum, if you need shooters don't sign shooters that can't shoot. If Phil Jackson has to punch your starting power forward in the chest it might be time to cut your losses.

Like I said, good job good effort.
