Your not understanding me, we give credit for those moves but that's not enough. If you cant get CP3 then go for a more affordable young PG not a 39 year old no defense playing overrated bum, if you need shooters don't sign shooters that can't shoot. If Phil Jackson has to punch your starting power forward in the chest it might be time to cut your losses.

Like I said, good job good effort.

Going For Nash Was A "Win Now FOR KOBE" Move

If You Want An Affordable Young PG Then Tell Kobe He Can Kicks Rocks If He Wants To Win Now

The Jodie Meeks Signing Was Looked At As A Good Move, The Earl Clark Singing Nobody Saw As A Good Move And Tun Out To Be The Biggest Surprise Of The Season

All This Complaining Is Hindsight Watching What The Spurs Are Doing, Dont Tell Me You Were Mad At The Front Office When The Season Started

Mitch is overrated. He's gotten seduced by always going for the big names.

There are guys in the D-League who could play better on the wing than Ron Artest at this point.

Fans and stans too, I mean in all honesty it's been the Laker way to get those big names but at the same time gotta make prudent moves too. We weren't the only ones gunning for CP3 so why didn't mitch have a better backup plan than Ramon Sessions?

I just feel like a lot of issues this season, and these past few seasons could of been prevented with some more thoughtful moves. But I guess we'll see how easy it is to sell that TWC shyt with a garbage squad, hell they destroyed the only player that'd draw any interest cuz no one is tryna see Slight Howard attempt to play in the post, that is if he hasn't left this trash for Houston. :upsetfavre:

Yes that is true but what about going forward???

You are not replicating the past greatness with Jim Buss.

Going forward the team has as ton a cap space. Right now though everything is kind of on hold till Dwight makes his decision.

As for Jim Buss people give that guy WAY more shyt than he deserves. IMO the only truly horrible decisions he's made was picking Mike Brown to coach the team.

People like to shyt on Jim Buss for bringing in Antoni even though EVERYBODY close to the situation said Jerry Buss was the one who insisted on bringing that clown in.

Da city where the skinny nikkas die
.....fukk the Lakers Organization brehs. This dirtbag timmy is 37 years old and gets to enjoy a franchise that does right by him in his advanced age and he's never looked better. Meanwhile, the Lakers got a player pushing himself beyond comprehension just to take an idiot coach and a ragtag band of bums to the pseudo-respectability of an 8th seed. This the 2nd time now that Kobe's expectations and effort > the Lakers overall.

These nikkaz ain't have a squad around him in his peak, and they managed to make lowkey horrible moves for big names and signed pound for pound the worst coach in all professional sports when he was playing at a level we didn't think possible anymore. Real shyt, Mitch is slowly drifting into overrated, and having a known drug abuser making the most integral decisions concerning the cash flow is irresponsible to the degree that if that trade sabotaging jew won't step in then congress needs to. Its not as if they'll spend their time doing anything better.

shyt's fukked up brehs, but the whole organization need to get they mind right. This years Kobe not getting to compete in the postseason this year is almost as criminal as hiring f'ucktoni. Get it together GOAT franchise. shyt's disgustin' :snoop:
breh... i mean no disrespect by this but

lol, real shyt I never liked the nash move. I only co-signed to keep optimism and I thought Kobe/Dwight would make up for his lack of defense. But I got an 82 game season of reasons now why nash was a terrible move. Hiring f'ucktoni only compounded the issue.

This is clearly a hindsight thread, if stern ain't cock block we wouldn't be in this mess. I'm just disappointed that the Lakers robbed themselves of more winning because of bonehead moves. Kobe couldn't even make it to the end of the season thanks to this shyt.

There's truth to this right here...

The Lakers picked up CP3 and cut a bunch of salary at the same time. It also fukked up the teams chemistry because you suddenly had guys on the roster who knew without a shadow of a doubt they were on trading block.

I'd prolly mark that as the end unless something changes before Kobe retires. If CP3 leaves the Clips then you could say stern single handily destroyed pro basketball in LA. Gasol was never the same after that debacle, and he was already starting to fall off.

:what:

What parallel reality are yall living in where the Lakers only won championships "sometimes". They won more than anybody else the past decade. They had seven trips to the NBA finals.

Obviously things have to be different moving forward because of the new CBA, but lets not act like the previous way of doing business wasn't a HUGE success.

I don't see any other teams in the league who've gone to 7 NBA finals and won 5 championships.

The Spurs currently got four championships but they also never went to the finals in consecutive years while the Lakers two streaks of 3 straight finals appearances.

Chris Paul isn't leaving the Clippers.

I don't care how badly him and Blake reportedly get along, Paul's not going anywhere because the team was winning, has room to grow, and can offer him more money.

It would take a colossal Donald Sterling fukk up to lose Chris Paul.

I wanted the Chris Paul deal to go down more than anything. Dude was my favorite non Laker player for awhile. I honestly thought the Lakers had no shot of getting him. That whole trade veto bullshyt was a fukking nightmare for me.

25+ shots a game huh? Be real breh. This dude isn't :aicmon: or :mjpls:.

I've never seen a player have to completely switch up his game in the middle of a season to the point of becoming a full time PG taking 10-13 shots just to accommodate teammates. It's ridiculous. Kobe has won championships taking ~20 shots per game and that shouldn't be out of the question for a player of his caliber.

Mitch had good intentions and everything looked good on paper, but the "team" is poorly constructed for today's NBA as is.

he got those ships with the help of shaq, phil jackson and prime gasol. fact of the matter is kobe is just a glorified chucker who cant make it to the finals without having another star, and hof coach. i have alot more respect for guys like ai and lebron who basically took lottery teams to the finals.

Same here, I felt CP3 was similar to Kobe in his competitiveness and ruthless nature. People will never know how tough that veto was, stern literally shot the team and toss it in a ditch shyt was that cold blooded.
