Kobe and Dwight have better talent surrounding them then Shaq and Kobe. I wonder why it didnt work out this season.

The Spurs are a special case, because they're pretty much the consensus pick for the best ran franchise in US sports...but even then, we have been to 3 finals and won two chips since the last time the Spurs got out of the Western Conference...and on top of that made the PERFECT move at the right time, and successfully traded Pau and Odom for CP3...before having it rescinded in one of the more shadier moments in modern pro sports history...most of the lakers current woes stem from that debacled trade fiasco, not moving Pau immediately after it fell apart and being stuck with his 20mil a year deal while not currently giving us anywhere that kind of value...

after that extraordinary setback they still pulled off the D12 trade that at least set up the time for the future in theory...unfortunately Dwight came back early from surgery wasn't really himself at all for big portions of the season...the Nash signing was a mistake...this isn't the time to be pairing kobe with a 40 year old in the backcourt and missed half of the season regardless...they overreacted in firing Mike Brown early in the season, and made the worthless horrible decision in hiring Dantoni with the foolish idea of playing Nash-ball with this roster :snoop: ...the team has a meeting and basically throws Dantonis system in the bushes ,and they have one of the best records in the league after the allstar break..then Kobe tears his fukking Achilles...shyt happens...i mean they've made some mistakes, but they aren't infallible or prophets...sometimes shyt just doesn't work out like it's hoped to :to: ...Dr. Buss passing makes the season seem cursed damn near

Y'all still on this "LWO" bullshyt? :heh: Y'all haven't hung that up yet? Or is just Quik keeping it alive?

Y'all are more like when Jim Cornette tried to resurrect the NWA in the WWF in the 90's, bringing back a 60 year old :flabbynsick: Rock N Roll Express.

Who was supposed to be the first option offensively?

It's not like the team didn't try other people.

They tried going to Pau more, Dwight more, they let Nash run the offense and the only thing that seemed to work was when Nash and Kobe started taking turns running the offense.

I co-sign everything but the Mike Brown firing, that dude had to go.

Everything else you said it spot on though. As I said earlier in the thread everything that could have gone wrong DID go wrong.

In the next few years we'll see who the true stans are and who was just the dikk riders :yeshrug:

Lakers are done for the next few years, I can't see them grabbing anyone in 2014 that will change our fate, and next year is a lottery tank.

It is what it is, the Lakers are never out of it forever.

If I ever stopped fukkin with the GOAT franchise that means I stopped fukkin with basketball in general. I got more faith that outside pressure and pressure from shareholders will fix this damage. But it's crazy how the Lakers and spurs have been the only teams with cornerstone players like this and the Lakers basically took theirs for granted.

I fukking hate Laker stans. They got Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, and Steve Nash surrounding mother fukking KOBE, and they still have the nerve to bytch about their roster. We just got Harden and a promising player in Parsons and i'm ecstatic. This is why the NBA will always be a shytty league.
