Real Rap Why are You Still playing Console Games????

After being a great contributor to this forum for more than 3 years and the endless debates about 30FPS and 900P. I had decided to get back into PC gaming with ultra graphics 120 FPS on some titles and real backward compatibility.

For the well cash strapped guys... Why are you still playing console gaming? Besides a Madden what the fukk else is better on consoles compared to PC? shyt not that expensive when you think about it.

if i could pick up a high tech system... that can play all these 4k mods that look like real life... and it cost the same... and it be a 30 min connection like a damn dell.... i'd have been done that shyt

Yall dudes be having no clue what you're talking about.
I have a 25 HDMI running from my entertainment stand, through the ceiling and over to my 60"...fukk a monitor. I built my system 4 years ago for a total of $570 (no monitor) and just 4 months ago sold my original GPU (Radeon 6870) for $75 and paid $230($155) for my R9. i5-2500k, R9 290, 8GB RAM pushes anything you throw at it on ultra with about the same damn frame drops as my PS4 and X1.

I have both consoles, but what's your excuse for now having a PC again?

you realize the avg leyman has no clue what the fukk you are talking about in 90% of that posting right?


i know with a little time, effort and google, i could build one... but like most people.... they have no desire to give time and effort to doing so

That's elite gaming.

Sometimes games are actually better on the consoles (Batman Arkham Knight, sports games, etc)

And you gotta have the consoles for the exclusives. Everything else is normally PC.

Basically. When u have everything u realize how stupid all these debates really are. I mean I been debating consoles since SNES/Sega. And I've always had both. At this stage the consoles are barely different. It's pointless as fukk to debate the shyt all day.

OP thinks it's all fun and games. He doesn't know the effort PC gaming takes yet. He'll see. Plus, he's going the AMD route. Be prepared for shytty performance and driver problems in certain games. You gotta be about that life. Editing ini files, running benchmarks, not being able to figure out a problem for days, weeks, months. shyt is not for the weak.

I wish OP the best of luck, but he needs to know what he's getting into. It's not plug and play like he's used to. We'll see how it works out for him. I have shytty luck with my tech for whatever reason. Hopefully he doesn't have to deal with that. And the goddamn RMA process is annoying as hell.

Yup. Worst part is buying new shyt or replacement shyt. Thinking one thing is the problem. Then it turns out to be something completely different. Or not even hardware related. Lol. Good luck OP.

If you can't take 2 hours out of your life to save yourself money and get a superior product then I already see what type of person you are (no offense). I keep every penny in my pocket if I can in any situation

HOW is this true, slightly better does not equate superior... Spending almost 1k, and having to have a decent interest to learn how to put together a pc just to experience this superior product when I am perfectly fine with the slightly inferior produce for half the price and half the hassle doesn't make sense...

there plenty of things that can go wrong before and after you put together your computer while there is only 1 thing that can go wrong with your playstation and then you can just send it to sony to fix it, who are you gonna send your computer to, geek squad lol

I don't use a desktop as much as I use to anymore(I only own a laptop, use to own both), and gaming laptops are just too expensive for what you get (I have one )

Plus I don't have to worry about anything fukking up (for the most part), console gaming is as close to plug and play as possible.

That being said, I would love another gaming laptop but it would be mostly for emulation and the occasional PC game.

There's plenty of products on the market, people chose what works best for them.

I will say that once you start playing games at 60fps it's hard to go back. Resolution is not such a big deal to me but the fluidity is.
