The reason why you buy a switch is to play first party kiddie games. You not buying a switch to play inferior ports of third party games. nikkaz ain’t buying a PS5 for Astrobot. They buying it for other third party games and age appropriate first party titles.

I mean I end up playing JRPG's on there then anything else tbh. Plus with 2D turned based JRPG's I prefer playing it on their on handheld then my PS5 tbh . Not like the lesser performance means much with those type of games.

Plus, some people will just buy a Switch just because it's the next Nintendo system. No other reason for that.

I do agree that stuff like Kirby & yoshi is made way too easy even for kids. Tho Nintendo knows their audience I suppose.

This. I played Mario Wonder on my PC and beat that shyt in less than a day. The ones on the NES were more difficult hell even SNES. I ran Super Mario bros 3 on pc like months ago and world 8 still feels like fukkery in my older age.

That is one thing i noticed over they years with nintendo games.

stuff like the original Yoshi’s island and the original mario trilogy were actually somewhat challenging games, especially if you didn’t use shortcuts. Now you can play through stuff like mario wonder with your eyes closed

thats why i found odyssey to be so boring, it was like nothing in it presented any real challenge

Yeah Odyssey was cool at first but being way too easy made it so I never wanted to play it again. Super Mario 3D World is better imo.

This new Mario Kart game is trying to be a kids version of Forza Horizon so uh

Crash Team Racing is very similar as well, often considered BETTER by lots of posters in this very forum.
Then Xbox bought the franchise, put it in Gamepass. nikkaZ done 4-got

Then there's that Sonic Team Racing joint where you transform from racing to boat to plane that is highly rated, also on most systems I'd assume
Nintendo is only known for Mario Kart and the seldom F-Zero release that nobody ever cares about anymore. The first F-Zero was the shyt tho
