You don’t know any 15-25 year old white kids do you? That’s the majority of his fanbase

The other half are suburban hype beast nikkas that have money to buy all the merch/sneakers he puts out.

The music is just a vehicle for Trav’s brand deals to sell sneakers/merch/product placements at this point but he’s built a sizeable catalogue of certified hits/bangers over the past decade

A lot of you nikkas are truly out of touch and not really hip hop fans.

You said people don’t know hip hop but admit that the majority of his base is 15-25 year old white kids and suburban hype beasts… is that hip hop? :mjlol:

taylor swift been doing this for a minute. Sabrina carpenter was doing this for her last album. All these artists are inflating their sales

I don't think it matters. All the artists you mentioned can sell out stadiums, as can Travis. The bundles are moreso about getting as much money/time from their fanbase as possible than putting up big sales numbers. That's certainly an ethical question but if you have a large fanbase that is excited to buy your stuff why wouldn't you offer them more things to buy. I won't defend Taylor's ridiculous mockery of that, with 10+ album variants and all that shyt.

You think all the money spent on the rollout, producers and features is going to be paid for by 90k first week sales?

And any profit if any has to split :dead:

they don't have to split with the record label tho. yes, they gotta pay for the features and production, but if u think pharrell is charging them the market rate....:aicmon:

pharrell don't even need the money from them like that.

Houston
I’ve never met anyone who even plays Travis stuff. And I lived in Houston for a hot second
This is true. No one listens to Travis here and I be outside and been here my whole life.
Bun big fake teeth having ass the only one really trying to cosign and connect Travis to Houston but he really has no ties here like that. It's all marketing to get what he can out of the city. They'll show up for his little softball games in Reliant/Daikan Park for some promo for some shoes or shirt but after that he don't even be in the city like that.

Diabolical

Clipse did a traditional rollout compared to Bieber and Trav dropping surprise projects and still taking the top spots.

Clipse even had the two of the hottest rappers featured on their project and still got the number four slot
