Reddit Finally Bans Racist Subreddits (Edit: Only a few of them.)

I don't know.
I suspect that a lot of these subreddits are independently monitored by moderators who volunteer their time for the site.
And banning certain subreddits (or removing them from the Front Page) takes place when there's a certain level of uproar.

And it's not twisted it's just bigoted and racist, almost all of the most popular members in TLR and all of the other posters are homophobes, and sexists, or use slurs against other groups or tolerate members who do.
Reddit is a site with millions of users that's specifically geared towards making many different communities so of course there's going to be some sick subs, how can you logically apply that to an entire user base?
Anyways I'm glad those subs are gone and it was absurd that the fat people hate forum was banned first.

But it does have racist subreddits.

Think of it this way: The Coli is a cool website. But some forums within it probably are not your cup of tea.
You may dabble in The Coliseum or The Ring or The Gym...but maybe you think The Salon is petty bullshyt.

While yes this side of the site that's complaining about this change there's an equal if not greater side that's been pressuring them to get rid if it for even longer that they always fight against.
Overall I stopped posting and going around reddit because the racism was depressing and just like I said when I came to thecoli I came here to talk about Breaking Bad and like minded black Americans on social issues.
