Really ?? Because in the offseason they spend way more time learning the qbs and the offenses tendencies . They then divise more ways to stop it :manny: it's harder to really break down a gimmicky offense during the season, no one is saying he can't improve because they will open the offense up . But Even that could leave to more mistakes

:deadrose: no one is worried about griffin. Training camp is to get guys in shape and learn the defensive plays

We play eagles week 1 and they might not even talk about the skins till the 3rd preseason game. They got a college coaching staff and new players and scheme. If the team we play week 1 is not thinking about us then why would anyone we play months from now :beli:

Sorry but I was in DC for the entire last season and saw every game and the reason RG3 got hurt was because after Garcon went down he didn't have ANYBODY to throw to so he tried to do too much. What exact have they done to upgrade the receivers that makes ANYONE think they will even come CLOSE to being the best offense in the league this year. Not even going to go into the best ever argument :beli:

that's funny cuz Tom and Aaron didn't win. Joe is the champ and he won because of outstanding WR play, not cuz of Joe being this pocket beast. RG3 won rookie of the year, not dropback Luck. But I'll let you tell it
I'm not talking about championships.

I'm talking about dominating the regular season year after year.

That gimmicky shyt wont get you there.

Garcon is the man, but you acting like Rob wasn't put on a short leash in terms of letting him open up during that stretch. Santana Moss had big games all year, nuckle head Josh Morgan had a decent year as well. Once everyone was "healthy" is the word I'll use, we was damn near unstoppable. This year we deeper in all the skill positions. WR, I'm happy with our big 3. We got too many weapons for what you talking about to be an issue IMO.

The Redskins don't run a gimmick. Nobody else gets called that, you know why?
Media just wanting to hate on what the brother man can do that the otherman cannot :leon:
Robert has a way of handing the ball off that is mad tricky. Peep game hater
Even his peers know whats good, while you trying to give credit to the white man for teaching this supa negro how to play :stop:

I don't see it being on a 1998 Vikings, 1999 Rams, 2007 Patriots, 2011 Packers level. They'll be good but that offensive line is still suspect and Griffin may have to round into form and it may take a few games.

No one had film week 2-16?

It's not about the in season preparation. This offense is new many teams had to spend time with College DC in the offseason to figure it out. 43 DE had to be retrained how to play. Gap control will be an emphasis for many teams. Giants drafted a big body DT and re-sign Shaun Rogers to eat up space. We coming for that spot :shaq:

Stop the run, discipline, slow down the reads etc. Offense can't be stopped but it can be slowed down.

People keep calling it a gimmick that will be figured out. Cam ran a variation of it the year before and everyone said it would get figured out in the offseason. Fast forward to last year where not only are the panthers are running it, but Wash., S.F., and Seattle run it as well. So the league had an entire offseason to prepare for it and the very next year, 3 of the 4 teams that ran it made the playoffs and one made the Superbowl. You guys are overlooking the fact that any of the four gentleman at QB for these teams can play as a pocket passer if need be. Just face it, you have to out score these teams and pray that the offense is a bit out of sync when you play them.

It might sound crazy but as of right now, yes...if you load up the box to stop the QB from hitting the edge, then there is one one one in the secondary. If you play soft zone to stop those deep post routes, the QB and RB will eat you alive on the edges. Blitz off the edges, the read option goes to the RB between the tackles. Blitz the middle and the QB hits the edge or hits the receiver/TE on the crossing patterns. I hesitate to call anything completely unstoppable but there is a counter for every defensive strategy we have seen thus far.
