In his prime name 5 better players and please don't expose yourself by saying Kobe.

He was marketed very similarly to Bron in the mid 90's, he was making TV appearances, Sprite commercials, and all sorts of shyt, the problem is 2/3's of you guys were too young to see him in the early years. He was a hybrid type forward, like Scottie Pippen but with a higher ceiling (but not as good as a defender). Other thing was, he played for a bad Detroit team that dumped him after he played all those games on a bad ankle.

He wasn't any better than Scottie Pippen. Nikkas in here talkin about he was Lebron, arguably the most gifted basketball player anyone has ever seen. You cats take hyperbole to a whole other dimension.

Hill was a 22/9/7 type player in his prime.

LMAO @ idiots putting him on Rudy Gay's level. :what:

Are You Really Gonna Sit Here And Hold Up Stat Sheets To Compare Them As Players? Dont Be A Clown, Lets Talk About Their Game

Revisionist bullshyt? Did you watch him play? Hill did everything better than Durant except score. He handled the ball, rebounded well, played good D, court vision was 2nd to none.

And Brandon Roy? fukk outta here. Since the names were mentioned in this thread, Hill's game most resembles Bron's. Obviously not as big or fast, but the versatility is the same.

Seems that ppl really forget how good Hill was before he got hurt.
Yes i watched Hill play. he wasn't as good as Durant is now.

And BRandon Roy was also on his way to becoming a top 10 player before his knees gave out on him.

How the fukk can be a lighter version of Lebron when Lebron's athletic gifts are what makes him Lebron. I could say the same shyt for Tracy Mcgrady too(regarding Lebron).

yall niccas like going in your revisionist lens and go in flashback mode....

I would argue against Payton and Duncan wasn't in his prime yet for another couple of years. I can live with the other 3, which still puts him in the top 5.
Duncan was a top 5 NBA player his rookie year! He wasn't in his prime, but he sure as hell was better than Hill.

Payton is arguable.

for those saying hill over kd. that's fine if we playing fantasy basketball. but if you want a stone cold killer that can LEAD you to a ship. you go with durant. look at g hill's playoff history in detroit. nothing to brag about. if you wanna play the look who he played with game, shoot look at who iverson had, who lebron had in cleveland. hell scottie pippen led the bulls to 55 wins after mike retired. grant hill is a great player but not a number one championship option.

Hill would be the 3rd best SF now to Bron/Durant he's better then Melo and the rest of them. He is not as good as Pippen because remember Pippen had a 3 ball, was a lock down defender, could pass, and still scored 21pt a night. Grant is 2nd to Pip.

Dead @ Putting Him In KD & LeBron Company, More Like Rudy Gay/Paul George

He Got A Sneaker Deal And Rookie Of The Year, That Cemented His Holier Then Thou Status In That Time

Grant Could Have Been A Great Sidekick To A Top Tier Guy, I Dont Think He Could Of Been THAT Leader Though

I hate how people who obviously did not watch Grant Hill play make these outlandish statements :rudy::rudy: Sidekick:leostare: the man was 3rd in MVP voting for the 97 season, led the league in triple doubles and you want to call him sidekick:stopitslime:
