Jordan wouldn't of won those titles without Pippen. Straight like that. Pippen was the best secondary option ever/side kick.

:comeon:

Wade,Kobe,Kareem>>>>Pippen

If I sit and think I can name several more. You nikkas od'ing wit the pippen dikkriding

If Grant Hill played today (well in his prime) he'd be just under Bron/KD and better then Melo. Best Point Forward of all time next to Pippen and I guess Bron now.

The only SF that could b argued better than a prime grant hill would be lebron.

One of basketball's great travesties that Hill ruined his ankle. It killed his career and cursed T-Mac to basically re-live Hill's Detroit career in Orlando. Two birds with one stone.

Grant Hill was a great player. His only real flaw was the lack of an outside shot. I don't even think he knew where the arc was. But midrange on in, he was automatic...with that weird looking pull up. He used to blow past whoever was guarding him, and dunk on whatever shotblocker was at the rim. He was a beast on the boards, and great court vision; he could pass from anywhere on the floor, including from the post. I think he was better than Lebron. Lebron is a more physical player and has more power in his game. Grant Hill was more polished.

He was better than Lebron to me. People forget he always shot a high percentage from the field, and when you watched him play, he had a knack for knowing where the ball would be at all times. I'm still amazed at how he grabbed so many rebounds. Another thing is that Lebron has less than 5 triple-doubles more than Grant, and Grant got his in 6 yrs. At one point he and Kidd were neck-and-neck.

:what: How old are some you nikkas? Just like a lot of dudes said he was Bron before Bron. He was a small forward that did a little bit of everything and was triple double threat. Very similar to young Bron (inconsistent jumper from long range, decent but not good defender) just smaller in weight and less athletic (he was one of the more athletic players back then too, no slouch at all) than Bron.

Being a Pippen stan I loved Grants game. KG, Bron, T-mac Grant...all Pip disciples. The thing that stood to me as a youngin' was his handle. That little right to left crossover was simple yet unfukkwitable.

The hard part with Hill is that his star power didn't really match his production until '99-'00. That was his best season imo, unfortunately that was the last season with 2 good ankle's. He was marketed and as though he was a top 5-8 player when in reality he was more a top 12-15ish level until that last year in Detroit. That year gave us a glimpse into what his prime would/could look like. 26ppg 6reb 5ast 49% he even upped his 3's that year to 98atts on 35%. He was anemic from 3

So its 2 answers really. The player he was (perimeter verision of 99-02 Garnett/rich man's Igudala with Lebron's marketing machine behind him) and the player he was becoming (A perimeter verision of prime Garnett/poor man's Lebron)

Dead @ Putting Him In KD & LeBron Company, More Like Rudy Gay/Paul George

He Got A Sneaker Deal And Rookie Of The Year, That Cemented His Holier Then Thou Status In That Time

Grant Could Have Been A Great Sidekick To A Top Tier Guy, I Dont Think He Could Of Been THAT Leader Though

:what:

Rudy Gays is a one dimensional low iq volume shooting chucker and Paul Geroge just recently got good youre gonna compare Grant to them :wtf:

Thast just as bad hyperbole as the dudes comparing him to Lebron..i agree he was more a sidekick but so was Pippen whos top 50 of all time..while he wasnt as good as Pippen hes closer to him then Gay or George

We're ALL In Here Basing If Off Opinion Of What Could Have Been, So None Of Us In Here Can Said We're Right

I Personally Dont Think Grant Would Have Been In MVP Discussions For Years On End

And In This League If You Arent In Those Discussions You Arent "Elite" As A Individual Player

If that's the case Melo will never be elite

I was a kid when he was still in his prime. However, I remember it looked like the game was easy to him, he was able to score when he wanted, was athletic, could pass, and like dude above said, the only thing he didn't have was an outside shot.
