Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Who cares? He wasn't the best player on either of those teams, so you can't credit him with leading them to back-to-back Finals. Everybody knows Tony Parker has been the Spurs best player for the past 5-6 years. Hell, even Leonard had a bigger impact on the 2014 Spurs than Duncan. Timmy's been a role player on the Spurs for a while now.

As for making the 1st team All NBA in 2013: Well, that's not exactly difficult to do in a league that doesn't have very many quality big men.

:dead:

According to the NBA he was the best player on the 2013 team, but you need excuses and qualifiers for that one. Is Marc Gasol a role player, yes or no.......

First team All-NBA, 2nd team all defense, currently has the 2nd best defensive rating in the NBA at 38 :russ:

Garbage posting :camby:Duncan been putting up near double double seasons in limited games and minutes while anchoring one of the league's best defenses and teams. Still one of the league's best big men all while playing the background and letting his homies get they shine on

What Kobe been doing the past few years? Tearing knees, achilles, and shooting his team into the draft lottery:lupe:

They gotta call Marc Gasol a roleplayer if they're saying Duncan was one the last two years :dead:

Wasn't Parker on the bench when Bron closed them out in 2013? Spurs don't win 2 games against the Heat without Duncan.

:what: Tony Parker was in MVP discussions for most of that year, and you're telling me the NBA had Duncan as the Spurs best player? Pull this leg and it plays jingle bells. Parker's been in MVP discussions since 2011, and the only reason he hasn't won it is because he misses games due to "injuries"(Rest). The NBA knows Parker has been the Spurs best player for the past several seasons.

:mjlol: at you trying to revise history. You know damn well nobody in the NBA felt Duncan was the best player on the Spurs that year.

You just described the job of a role player.

Yeah, Parker was supposedly injured with a hamstring. Either way, he wasn't the best player of that particular series anyway... but neither was Duncan. Danny Green would have won Finals MVP if the Spurs won that series.

Don't do Em like that. Let them think that Tim Duncan wasn't some super role player the last couple of seasons. Funny, they try to diminish kobe by saying shaq won all the fmvps but don't even realize that guys like Parker, Danny Green, and Leonard were winning fmvps over him:heh:

So, now the MVP matters? You and your ilk will constantly say Kobe is the best player despite 1 MVP award, yet you're here saying Parker was the best player that year, despite the fact Duncan was 2nd in scoring and their most important defensive player? So which is it, does the MVP matter or not, cause you can't use it in the discussion of Parker being better than Duncan in 2012-13 and then turn around and claim Kobe is better, even though he has less MVPs than Duncan.

:mjlol: at you trying to revise history. You know damn well nobody in the NBA felt Duncan was the best player on the Spurs that year.

Ain't no revisionist shyt, he was the anchor of their defense while being their 2nd most important offensive player, PERIOD.

You just described the job of a role player.

You refuse to answer whether or not Marc Gasol is a role player :dead:

:dead:

Vs. Heat
Danny Green - 14ppg 4rpg
Tim Duncan - 19ppg, 12rpg, 1bpg

Yeah, Danny was gonna win Finals MVP with Duncan having a 25pt first half vs the:camby: .

:what: Duncan made the all-nba first team as a center. Tony Parker had tougher competition at the guard spot. Even Spurs fans had Parker as their best player in 2013.
