Bruh if you single, and got $1200 to spend on rent. I would move to the Addision, Carrollton area. You got alot of dope resturants, bars, clubs. And you close to the tollway and 635 which will basically get you anywhere you need to go pretty quickly.

I got people out in the Desoto, Cedar hill, Duncanville area and its cool but its just too far from everything for my taste and donesn't have the diversity of the North Dallas area.
I've lived in Mesquite, garland, Richardson, Carrollton, Uptown, and Cedar Hill... and now I live in Mckinney and you just can't go wrong with Addison.

If you into hipster type shyt Uptown would be a nice choice too, alot stuff to get into off Greenville.

But honestly Dallas has a little of everything, and the cost of living is great.

I have 2000+ Sq feet house and my mortgage isn't even $1200 a month

summer aint that hot. its all dry heat......no humidity....103 degrees aint that bad

:comeon: Don't lie to this man. It's gonna be scorching down here May-September.

Other than the summer heat it's dope. The winter aren't bad at all, plenty of stuff to do, summer time bbqs be having the girls out in almost nothing :wow:

Texas Rangers games during the summer on Wednesdays (dollar hotdog night :eat:)

Like folks have said 1200 for rent is more than enough

:salute: Already, I've only been out here a year and half but I love it so far.
I know I've seen that street too, she must live west of 75 like me

It's close enough to where I can get to most places I need to go in about 30 mins or less. But far enough that I don't have people just popping up on me constantly like I did in North Dallas...

Man stop, don't nobody give a shyt about south dallas but the people that live there. He has a $1200 a month budget for a place to stay, yes you can get a house but why make a 30 year commitment to a specific location when he just now moving here? Rent an apartment In uptown feel the city out for a year or two and then go from there.

On a side note it bugs the fukk outta me when people say why pay that for rent when you can get a house, I get that same shyt everytime I tell someone how much I pay for rent. Everyone's situation is different

This my thing right here. I'll be there for a year or two as it stands now. I dont wanna lock myself in to a mortgage. If I fukk with the city and decide i want to stay....i'll take my 1200 and get a crib. but not initially

Another thing....im not tryna be in the burbs with 30 and 40 yr olds. Im 22 lls. I dont wanna have to drive 30-40 minutes to party.

a 30-40 minute work commute is fine wit me.

The suburbs
I live in da southeast part of the metro. When it comes to Dallas, uptown is the nicest places. But its not alotta blacc people there at all. But thats "uptown". "North" Dallas is right by it and has alot of blacc people but they all mostly live in townhomes.

As far as black places thats not the hood, Dallas probably has some of the most white minority suburbs in the country :blessed:
Mesquite is a suburb right outside of Dallas thats pretty big itself(150,000) people with a mall, movies and alotta of resturants. And its just 20 minutes from downtown. Mesquite is the city right outside the southeast of Dallas. So as soon as you drive out of the city limits coming from the southeast of the city, you're in Mesquite.
Its other mostly black suburbs too tho, like Lancaster, and Desoto etc..

The suburbs
if you looking for a 1200 apt why would you look in the desoto, cedar hill area? fukk outta here. dont do my coli breh like that. i never met anyone that is looking to move to desoto, cedarhill, oak cliff area unless you ghetto. when people wanna get out of the hood you move north.

i never said chipotle was good. that says a lot about the city if you aint got a chipotle in your area. and one starbux within a 20 mile radius???? :laff: :laff: stop it slime

and oh yea........desoto, cedarhill, duncanville area only has two lane highway. you dont understand how glad i am to get outta that area. fukk outta here breh
Desoto and cedar hill arent the hood. Outside the main city, the only hoods in Dallas are probably some parts of Garland and Balch Springs

The 3rd Degree
Where I'd work is in the southeastern part of dallas dont know exactly. But as of know it would be a 1 to 2 yr project so I dont want to buy a house just yet. From what the internet has been sayin, uptown, the villages, and downtown would be my best bets.

But google results be racist as shyt, basically callin anywhere that has black people the hood. I'm tryna get my money worth but I'm tryna be around my own kind at the same time.

I dont have a problem commuting to my job, im more concerned with being in the city, being around bars, stores, restaurants, clubs, etc.

Wild homo :smh:
